The predator (sub adult) waits patiently as he knows that this little Ibex kid is trapped and has no way to escape. They both are on a ridge barely 2 feet wide and down below is a steep fall to the river. Such is the life of these animals up in the Himalayas. They live dangerously and hunger drives them to the edge of the cliff.
