THE FLIGHT
In pursuit of the monal across the mountain, dashing through the trail to take a portrait I was heeding no attention to my surroundings. Pumped with adrenaline I heard a flight over my head instantly regretting not spotting it .
Thankfully enough I got a good show of the colours and got the first flight shot!!

THE FIRST GLIMPSE.

It was disheartening to miss the Monal twice as we hiked at 11000 ft.
Almost after losing hope to spot monal as the sun got harsh, our guide Pushkar ji exhubirantly pointed out a monal across the valley.

With a new energy, I pointed out the equipment to photograph the majestic bird but couldn't see it anywhere.
Finally the Monal's head popped up against the majestic backdrop of the mountains as it gave a glimpse of its colours in the sunlight.
This moment was just the start of the coming adventures in persuing this beautiful bird ....
