Some celebrations don’t need to happen on the exact date to feel perfectly timed!A belated birthday for @punkbunnychan became an evening that reminded us how special it is to find friendship who genuinely celebrate one another. The kind of friendships where everyone’s joy becomes your own, where showing up is never an obligation—it’s a privilege.Thank you to our gracious hosts, Mai-san and Jas-san, for welcoming us with such heartfelt omotenashi. Every detail reflected thoughtfulness and care from Jas’s beautifully curated wine pairings, whether bubbles, white, or red, to Mai’s incredible home-cooked feast prepared with the same artistry she brings to everything she does. Chef, florist, kimono enthusiast, supermom, superwoman… somehow she wears every role with such grace 👘 What I cherish most isn’t just the beautiful table or the exceptional food and wine. It’s the laughter that lingers long after dinner, the conversations that pick up exactly where they left off, and the kind of friendship that makes every woman at the table feel seen, celebrated, and supported.And of course… ending the night belting out Backstreet Boys on karaoke. お餅つきのお手伝い @hoshijapanesesweets 日本語は下↓We helped a Mochi Pounding event at Hoshi Japanese Cafe!It was just the day after Kagami Biraki (New Year Mochi Breaking), and @kimonolife_usa our Japanese culture ambassador, explained the tradition to everyone. Even @stevespov Steve-san’s car fans gained a better understanding of Japanese culture, which was wonderful to see!The event was a huge success, with many people trying mochi pounding and having so much fun. ✰２０２５🎍🎋🎑拝謝申し上げます to our extraordinary, beautiful friend, @kimonolife_usa • @mymai_chef & her family! 🙇🏻‍♀️S000 thankful to have this beautiful friendship. Nakaoka family invited us to partake in the most spectacular and special experience on the first day of 2025 — Mai along with day-of-party helpers prepared a feast unlike any other with a special highlight of the traditional Japanese New Year’s osechi ryōri • おせち for us all to enjoy together!ℹ︎：Osechi cuisine features numerous small dishes perfectly presented in multi-tiered lacquered boxes called jubako (jūbako, じゅうばこ, 重箱), similar to a very formal style bento box. As with the dishes and ingredients themselves, there is special consideration and meaning given to the number of tiers, the number and types of dishes that go into each one, and the very act of stacking the meal in this style is said to be “piling up happiness and good fortune”. Toast to my 2024 chapter, I carry forward its lessons with gratitude. Each experience, whether joyful or challenging, shaped a phase of my life that was necessary and meaningful. Now, with 2025, I’m filled with excitement to explore new possibilities and learn fresh things. I’ve humbly realized that what once worked for me was perfect for its time, but now, I’m ready to embrace life with even more highs. Super late post.いちご狩り納めいつのですかと言われそうですが、ダラスの春の風物詩いちご狩り。こちらのファームは不定期オープン。なので、FB上に上がるインフォを頼りに行きます。ハウス栽培なので、日本のイチゴみたく、小ぶりで甘くて最高なのです。凄く混むので、平日の朝一を狙います。この日は10時オープンだけど9:30にゲートについて車2台目でした。来年も行くぞ！・・・・#thingstodoindallas #northdallas #fruitspicking #strawberry #strawberrypicking #dallasfoodie #いちご狩り #ダラス #ダラス生活 by @punkbunnychan
