my hallway installation of accumulations

piling and piling, I never forget where and whence came. I carry a part of everything I've ever encountered, everything that ever was, a part of what is to come. Veneration, rumination, finding traces in everything that finds its way to me. I won't let go, I don't know how.

Prints done using oil paint on saran wrap, overlayed with a sheet of dura-lar. Finding significance in remains of day to day life as per usual.

2 years worth of dedicated work, years more to get to that point - please come support me and see my thesis exhibition :) there will be plenty to eat and drink, i'll be making a big vat of soup n bread !! I encourage you to bring something to share, something to take home leftovers, etc. and whatever is left will be taken to Van Buren homeless shelter afterwards. Will be lounging, yapping, playing cards maybe, who knows! Bring whoever you like! Smoking outside included xoxo

I ain't gonna lie to y'all, I have no family who will come and i'm sad and scared about this !! Vulnerability I suppose. I will do it scared - but uhh come see me pls n thanks 😰

Buncha drawings !! I've gotten like 2 years behind on dumping my sketchbooks. I don't know why I really stopped sharing, maybe I got too in my own head about it. Late is better than never so i'm working on it.

I've gotten really into raw pigments and how they fill every curve and trace of fingerprints and handprints. Patterns emerge everywhere - it's intuition I guess

Everything Heaven Sends 2026
Raw canvas, conte, iron oxide pigment, charcoal, assorted beads and precious stones, oil paint, the artists blood

In the early morning hours of January 13th, I attempted to take my own life. I had relapsed a couple weeks before. First you decide if you're going to do it, and then you decide if you're going to tell anyone.
we know the answer to both questions.
As my blood soaked through that godforsaken material, I felt ashamed most.

Suffering is an inexorable part of our humanity, my art is inseparable from my suffering, but the ability to experience both ecstatic joy and tremendous pain speaks of their equality and inability to exist without one another. Removing pain would rid us of our capacity to deal with it.

I seek refuge in creation, not an escape from my pain but the ability to transcend it and see it in perspective next to my joy and love. You must feel to move through. I am embracing my humanity, one that includes both pain and love and the existence of and through both. You will suffer, you can't avoid it, but you cannot suffer forever, most importantly - you won't suffer forever.

I started this piece in 2024 when I was first given the space to explore fiber as an art by the best ever @danalynnharper ! Dana completely changed my artistic path, simultaneous push and support I didn't know I needed - what a beautiful human being. It was a really hard piece for me to make, to talk about, even to look at - I banished it to the top of my bookshelf for 2 years to keep it out of my sight. This winter I went through a lot. A lot of reflection, a lot of digging up the past, laying old bones to rest. This piece came back, this time I couldn't keep my eyes off it - it almost haunted me for about a week before I realized I had to lay my pillow to rest. I processed lots I needed to let go of to move on and a little bit of peace came my way through this. The only way out is through 🙂‍↕️

The Wheel of Fortune (Pace) 2026
I follow two separate trails of blood, one from the glass shard in my drunken mother's foot and the other leading to my beaten father on the front porch. These trails mimic the ones they created, the ones running through every limb of my body.
I can't escape the blood in my veins even when I've tried to empty myself of its presence. Stains linger on every surface, traces left on everything I've ever touched or held.
Spiraling and circling, marking time and following what's left behind. I chase my own tail, gnashing and biting to escape my own jaws.
On my hands and knees, I try my best to scrub what remains but the water always runs red, remnants always under my nails.
Your blood is mine and I am your blood.
