perfect date night spot for kbbq 🥩
more upscale than your regular kbbq spot, romantic ambiance
🥩 meats were so yummy, especially the prime galbi
🍠 their banchans were all made very well, couldn’t stop eating the sweet potato & scallion salad.
🥚 egg souffle & seafood pancake never misses
🍲 both their kimchi and dwenjjang jigae were flavorful just a tad too salty. 🫣
🍸 espresso martin made w tequila was soooo good
poloma didn’t hit, grapefruit wasn’t mixed in well
the old fashioned had a ice cube with orange peels frozen inside to look like a rose!!!

idr the last time i food coma’d this hard

premium chriashi bowl & salmon sashimi so fire 9.2/10 🍣
hojicha panna cotta was top tierrrr 8.8/10 🙌 🍮
if you love highballs and plum wine please try hiroshi the captain 🤜🏻 8.7/10

‘tis the season for some yummy soba 🍜
🌊 uni soba was phenomenal
🦆 i wanted something warm so i had the duck soba and it didn’t disappoint
🍤 happy hour appetizers were ok, can’t go wrong with tempura
🍵 forgot to take a picture but the yuzu sorbet and the matcha creme brûlée are must try’s!

quick trip to hong kong @potluckclubny

for the table:
🍴endive salad, salt & pepper chicken w/ scallion biscuits, tiger shrimp w/ candied walnuts, and spicy eggplant
🍸ribena spritz

refreshing salad, never had this combo of fruits
that chili-plum jam with the chicken was chef’s kiss
tiger prawns were super big and saucy (loved)

but manager made up for it w a round of drinks on dahaus
*probably one of the better ducks i’ve had!!! 🦆

didn’t expect to be surprised by the soft servce ice cream 🍦 from Yukishio Salt Factory but wowza never tasted anything like it 😵

first meal in tokyo was an unique omakase experience from @sushisho_mittu0429
such exclusive cuts of seafood and the unique sake collection was extensive with limited holiday editions only found in japan!!

located in the basement, would definitely miss the entrance. animated interactive head chef was super friendly! heard he’s moving locations in a month so address will be changing

appetizers:
nameko mushroom
kuromutsu SO GOOD
pufferfish with monk liver ponzu sauce (good sauce)
steamed abalone in dashi
pufferfish karaage
nodoguru black throat - FIRE my fave usually

mains:
squid
amadai sweet sea bream - yes
akami tuna -yes
chutoro - yes
otoro
kohada - a bit fishy
red snapper in dashi
sweet shrimp
whale!!! surprisingly tasty
shellfish hokigai - ok ok i like it
bafun uni
purple uni very good
freshwater eel - good even tho i dont love eel
egg cake
torotaku (was requested additionally)
