Last week, we celebrated the 59th class of Indiana Master Farmers at the Beck Agricultural Center 🌾

The 2026 Indiana Master Farmer ceremony brought together agricultural leaders, family and friends to recognize those whose dedication to farming, conservation and service continues to strengthen Indiana agriculture.

This year’s recipients reflected on the importance of conservation, advocating for agriculture and supporting fellow farmers — values that have defined the Master Farmer tradition for nearly six decades.

🚂 Justin Bedel (Agronomy and Agribusiness; Greensburg, IN) is in his hometown for the summer as a grower direct intern with Advanced Agrilytics.

“This summer, I have enjoyed traveling to many farms across southeastern Indiana, making agronomic observations and seeing the diversity from one operation to the next. Additionally, I am continuing my understanding of how both field environments and mechanisms affect crop development and how Advanced Agrilytics helps improve input efficiency and maximize crop output across all crop production systems. Most importantly, I have loved integrating data and in-field scouting to provide practical value to growers.”
