No matter the current climate, sexual assault is an issue that deserves awareness, attention, and action at all times.

The Chi Chapter of Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority, Inc. stands in solidarity with survivors of sexual assault and believes that accountability must be upheld in every situation. We recognize the importance of creating safe environments where survivors feel heard and supported.

Sexual assault awareness should not be limited to moments of public attention. It is an ongoing responsibility to educate ourselves, advocate for survivors, and hold individuals accountable for their actions.

We encourage everyone to familiarize themselves with the resources available and to continue fostering a community rooted in respect, safety, and support.

We stand with survivors. We stand for accountability. 💗 by @purduegammas

Pink with purpose🎀

This October, we honor the fighters, celebrate the survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and stand beside everyone whose life has been affected by breast cancer. 💗

Awareness matters. Early detection matters. Support matters. This month and always, we stand together. 🫶🏽

Fun fact: I love matcha! 🍵

Why SLG?: I chose SLG because I was looking for a genuine sisterhood and a sense of community. I wanted to surround myself with girls who would support, uplift, and encourage one another. Through SLG, I found a welcoming environment where I could build meaningful friendships and create lasting bonds.

We have our heart of G.S. Ixcalíaa 💗💜

Lizette “Navalia” Sanchez

Year: Junior

Major: Biology 🧫

Minor: Anthropology 🌎

Fun fact: I’ve gone skydiving

Why SLG?: Watching the Gammas from the outside, I could tell how close they were. Growing up with sisters then moving to come to Purdue, I missed the tightness of sisterhood, the feeling of having someone in my corner all the time. I joined SLG because I knew they were women who would always have my back, always support me, and always listen to me.
