God’s plans are bigger than my own.

At 18 years old, I stepped onto this campus as a first-generation college student with faith, ambition, and a dream in my heart. I didn’t fully know what God had in store for my life, but one thing I did know was that I wanted to attend the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy. By 20, that dream became reality, and less than a year later, I began my journey through pharmacy school.

Looking back, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for all that God has allowed me to accomplish during my time here:
• Earned my PharmD and Master’s degree from a Top 20 pharmacy school and the #1 pharmacy school in Georgia
• Joined the greatest sisterhood, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated., fulfilling a dream I’ve had since a little kid.
• Given opportunities beyond anything I could have imagined, including leadership experiences, national recognition, and the next chapter of my journey through residency training in North Carolina

Every accomplishment, every opportunity, every closed door and answered prayer has been a reminder that God’s timing and plans are far bigger than anything I could have imagined for myself. Through every challenge and every victory, His grace has carried me.

All Praise to God! This is for the little girl who always had BIG dreams for herself.
