I saw a quote that said:

“You already know what to do, you’re just negotiating with comfort.”

And I felt that to my core.

I think a lot of life comes down to that.

The things I’m most proud of were never built when I was comfortable. They came from taking chances, learning things I didn’t know, making mistakes and refusing to stay in the same place.

I genuinely love what I do. I love building. I love learning. And I love looking back and realizing that something that once felt impossible is now just another day in the shop.

Comfort feels good.

Growth feels better.

And we’re just getting started.

Pressure is a privilege.

The pressure to get it right.
The pressure to live up to someone’s expectations.
The pressure that comes with being trusted inside somebody’s home and being asked to create something that will become part of their everyday life.

We’ve had the privilege of custom fabricating the cabinetry and closets throughout this home, and projects like this are a reminder of how far we’ve come, and how seriously we still take every opportunity in front of us.

Growth brings pressure. Responsibility brings pressure. Doing work you actually care about brings pressure.

And I’d rather carry the weight of being trusted with something meaningful than live a life where nothing is expected of me.

Pressure is a privilege.
It means you’ve been given something worth showing up for.
