genesis.
a poem i wrote recently after recalling a memory i had from church camp. not an experience i usually pull from, but the feelings i felt after remembering this impacted me and consumed my thoughts for awhile.

after being forced to bound my own hands and kneel at an altar i was asked to recall a moment in my life i had been impure. my discomfort was disregarded as sinning was something we should find comfort in. there were too many memories i could pull from, as i was never a very pure person.

i remember distinctly being frustrated that if god had created me, why did he curse me with these impurities?

i don’t know just something i’ve been pondering.
