Once upon a time, in a vibrant community, lived a down-to-earth Black girl with a heart full of dreams and a camera always in hand. From a young age, she inherited her love for photography from her mother, who was affectionately known as “the picture lady.” Her mother taught her and her sisters the importance of cherishing moments and capturing memories. This legacy became the foundation of her passion.

☺️💕📸 Life took an unexpected turn in 2017 when she lost her job at the airport, a position she had worked hard to secure. This loss felt devastating. With only customer service experience under her belt, she took a leap of faith and applied for a security guard position. While there, a whisper in her soul urged her to seek something greater. “This can’t be it,” she thought. “I am destined for more.”

☺️💕📸Her husband noticed her struggle and often asked her what she truly loved to do. Each time, she would respond, “I love taking pictures. I could do it all day long!” Alongside her passion for photography, she has a natural gift to uplift and encourage others, making it a seamless part of her identity.

☺️💕📸Years before, during a visit to her hometown, she had a life-changing experience while getting professional photos taken with her nieces. The joy of capturing those moments in a studio ignited a spark within her. She dreamed of creating her own photography studio, inspired by the marvelous operation she witnessed.

☺️💕📸Today, she stands proud as the owner and operator of her family photography business. With every click of the camera, she continues to honor her mother’s legacy, capturing beautiful moments and memories for families just like hers. Her story is one of resilience, faith, and the unwavering belief that greatness comes from following one’s passion. by @puritytouch

Purity Touch is a dream 💭 come true….I’m the girl that believes every moment is a memory in the making, and with my camera, I get to freeze those moments in time so they can live on as memories for years to come….I do this for me and my family and I also do this for YOU and your family !!!!!!!!!!!☺️🤗💕🎊📸

September 25, 2021 ☺️🙌 we opened the doors to our physical studio. Four years before that, we were photographing out of our apartment, chasing this dream one session at a time.

🤗💕🎊📸 Believing in yourself takes courage. Fighting against your own limiting beliefs takes even more. But knowing what’s possible for you……what you can achieve if you simply believe…..believe in yourself and believe in the ability God gave you….changes everything 😩🙌🤌

Nine years in business. Five years at this location 😮‍💨 massive victory I promise to not take it lightly 🙏💕🎊📸

Running your own business takes crazy faith, discipline, sleepless nights, countless sacrifice’s. It takes thick skin, missed moments with your own family while you’re busy capturing everyone else’s, wearing every hat, and giving yourself grace on the days when it all feels like too much

🤗💕🎊📸 But honestly yall there’s nowhere I’d rather be than doing what I love 🥹📸 capturing and celebrating your special moments, helping you preserve memories you’ll treasure and pass down for generations. And giving you all a place to be 🗣️ LOUD, LIT 🔥, COMFORTABLE, AND COMPLETELY YOU ! 😆😜

Watching some of you go from pregnant to holding your babies, to watching those babies grow up in front of our camera…..to celebrating 🥳 Birthday Milestones, Family Connection, and Graduations it’s dear to our hearts 🥰

In 2017, we decided to start Purity Touch Photography. 🤗💕📸

We were learning as we were going. We didn’t try to have everything figured out or try to be experts before we started…..we learned the basics of photography, lighting, camera settings, editing to the best of our ability at the time, and we grew and advanced from there.

🤗💕📸 We utilized every bit of social media, word of mouth, face-to-face engagements, low pricing, free sessions….all to build our portfolio to market ourselves.

We photograph everything ☺️💕📸 families , children, maternity, birthday celebrations, graduations, prom, baby showers, weddings, engagements, anniversaries, headshots. If it needed to be captured, we showed up for it.

🤗💕📸 For four years, we photographed out of our apartment before we ever launched into our own physical studio location. Today marks five years since we did y’all 😩💕📸 5 Whole Years

Social media glamorizes entrepreneurship. It makes it look like something it’s not. It is very much out the mud. It takes a whole lot of sacrifice, discipline, determination, a whole lot of crazy faith, and yes…..a whole lot of courage and dignity.

🤗💕📸 But if there’s something in life you want to pursue…..a dream, a passion, a goal, a wish, something you want to achieve…..our best advice is…..just do it. Go after it. Don’t wait. Don’t try to have everything perfect. Don’t try to have everything figured out. Learn as you go. Put yourself out there.

You’ll be glad that you did. 🖤
