re:Play returned to the Las Vegas Festival Grounds last year, closing out re:Invent 2025 by bridging tech with unforgettable experiences and turning the night into something cinematic for more than 25,000 attendees.

The entrance needed to hit people instantly. The second you walked in, the energy had to change.

I conceptualized every part of this experience from the ground up, including the structure, lighting behavior, pacing, soundtrack, and overall atmosphere. The goal was to make it feel less like an entrance and more like stepping into another world.

I wanted to create something massive without relying on a traditional LED heavy build, so we landed on a diagonal lattice system using UV light and phosphorescent coated poles to create the glow. It gave the whole thing a raw, electric feeling while staying scalable and affordable across the festival space.

Big thanks to @steventurner3d for helping bring my sketches into a real build system, and Nick V for building the lightshow around my render concepts and soundtrack to fully bring the vision to life.

End of Weekend 1 at Coachella, our guy @steezykane pulled off something wild… bringing The Girlfriend Experience (@synovamusic, @ornomusic, and myself) out to the Indio hills for a pop-up DJ set… for everyone priced out of the festival.

What started as “Brokechella” turned into something way bigger. If you’ve seen the video (search “Coachella is suing me for this” or @streezykane on YouTube), you already know how it escalated.

Petting zoo. Tacos. A dancing horse. Insane winds. Rain. And somehow, still a vibe.

Grateful to have been part of such a bold, chaotic, and unforgettable idea. Truly unlike anything I’ve ever played.

Been quiet for a minute. Not because the ideas stopped… life just got loud.

I spent some time in the Amazon where the electricity literally shuts off for hours at a time. When the lights go out there’s nothing to do but listen to the jungle and sit with your own thoughts. No screens, no noise, just darkness and whatever’s rattling around in your head.

Not long after that I was standing at Machu Picchu looking at something humans built hundreds of years ago that’s still standing… while I’m over here staring at a hard drive full of half-finished ideas.

Then came moving apartments. Surgery. Recovery. And a stretch where inspiration just went completely silent.

Meanwhile the backlog kept staring at me: Too rough. Too weird. Not polished enough.

Being surrounded by incredibly talented people in the creative world had me believing my art needed to reach a certain level of perfection before it was worth putting out.

Somewhere along the way I started believing everything I released needed to sound and look perfect... but that expectation never actually belonged to me.

Then I went to the Gorillaz exhibition in LA.
Standing in front of Pazuzu at House of Kong and seeing the sketches, rough concepts, and strange unfinished pieces that eventually became something iconic.

Demon Days has been my favorite album of all time, and seeing the creative process behind their universe made it click again and reminded me of something important.

The art that shaped me wasn’t clean or perfect. It was weird, raw, experimental, a little chaotic, but above all, honest. I forgot that’s the lane I come from.

I have too many collaborations lined up, too many ideas suffocating in folders, and too many projects half-built.

Will I finish everything I want to this year?
 Probably not. I’m stupidly ambitious and there’s too much to build.

But will you see the full range of what I’m capable of?
Abso-fucking-lutely.

To the people still around, friends, family, and the handful of you who’ve watched me make weird shit over the years whether you care about the art or not… thanks for still being here.

Time to open the floodgates.
