This week's obsessions: finally posting about The Garment.

On a serious note, I wanted to make this week's theme about Jane Doe. As I'm sure most women can agree, we relate to Jane Doe or we are Jane Doe. Women don't deserve to be treated this way, by "men" aka boys, by our justice system, by our society. Boys should know better and be better. The patriarchy isn’t helping anyone, including them.

On this week's obsessions: silent film edition, because apparently when you ban the press there's nobody left to hold the mic.

I added bars over faces in the project photos to keep knitters' faces private. Trying it out. What do you guys think? Should I keep doing it?

This week's obsessions: maple trees and stars, for the EU's proposal that Canada become its first-ever associate member. 🍁✨

Growing up Canadian American, I got called stupid and illiterate just for being Canadian. Canada's spent a long time as America's ugly stepsister living upstairs, and honestly, we're tired of being measured against America at all. This feels like Canada speaking for itself, and I'm proud.

Canada isn't perfect. It has plenty to answer for. But being Canadian has taught me that community means everyone, not just people who look and sound like you. Reaching across the pond toward partners who share that feels like a step in the right direction.

This week's obsession: movement.
Currently writing this on my jiggling laptop (which is at 4% rn btw) on my lap cushion whilst moving cross country to Seattle, our new home. I decided to use birds migrating this week since it felt fitting. I hope you guys like this week's post because I've literally have gone through hell and back to make it lol.
