GLADIATOR - Mike Awesome Wave I’ve always meant to do an Awesome Wave for years and finally got the chance to. He was one of those wrestlers that opened me up to Japan after watching his battles with Masato Tanaka in ECW. I wanted to pay tribute to his major title wins in FMW and run in Japan to compliment his ECW run. Please enjoy! DANGEROUS FLOWER 🌺 - Hana Kimura Wave In honour of Hana Kimura’s life I thought I’d repost my tribute to her from 2020. Sadly Hana’s someone taken from this world at such a young age and we can only imagine the level of success she’d have with her talent. Please be the best we can be as humans and treat each other with love and respect. We miss you Hana! PURE WILD - Ozaki Wave Hello all! This video is on one of my favorite Joshi stars of the 90’s who’s celebrating 40 years in the business, Mayumi Ozaki! The ‘Queen of the Street Fight’ was one of the main stars of Japan’s JWP promotion in the 1990’s until she founded Oz Academy. I hope I can get across what a fantastic talent she is through this compilation. I wish I could get around to more videos these days but life has gotten in the way. I still have the Patreon going strong at patreon.com/purowave with many many exclusive videos! Please enjoy! Music is “Late Night Fantasy II” by Cosmic Cycler, “VHS Skylines” by Bon Chic and “Digitales” by bbrainz. Purowave Ichiban! #mayumiozaki #jwp #joshiwrestling #prowrestling #ajakong by @purowave

ZENJO WAVE - All Japan Women’s Pro-Wrestling Happy International Women’a Day! My apologies for the lateness of the post! It’s a perfect time to put up the original Purowave video from a decade ago. There’s no tougher and more influential generation of Pro Wrestlers than the 80’s/90’s AJW crew. If I can even show a fraction of how amazing this roster was, I’d be happy and hope you dive deeper into the greatest era. Most footage is taken from an AJW documentary a French tv show did. It shows off the rigorous touring schedule and hard wrestling style of 1991.
