“Home is a foreign place” (70x100cm, charcoal on paper)

One of my favourite pieces from this last year, to the topic of ‘alienation’. Part II of “the metamorphosis” - another big charcoal drawing featuring the house that is seen in miniature on this one, plus the tiny person that hatched out of the first drawing too…

Lots of people ask how I come up with my pictures: most of them (including this one) I either dream of, or I get the idea in the moment right before drifting off to sleep ✨

OPEN CALL: THE LAST DAY / Submissions for our 4th collective book are made through the link in our bio. These are some of our favourites so far!

Our call is open worldwide to all types of visual arts; photography, painting, illustration, sculpture, design, film stills, etc. Basically anything printable in a book. No restrictions in terms of age, accomplishments, approach… You can send images from one or more projects but note that they will still be considered individually.

Your credentials or previous accomplishments are irrelevant. Our mission is to give a home to great images whatever the background of the artist is. That being said, we have always encouraged the newcomers. Since the beginning we try our best to spread the work of unknown & emerging (sorry to use this term…) artists!

“Blue Box in superposition” 2024
2 x 2m digital collage made with AI images.

This was part of a very cool collaboration with the physics institute of the university Bonn, where a running exhibition “4m^2” brings new artistic perspectives to the field of quantum physics ✨
