Doctor of Clinical Psychology 🎓❤️

Still pinching myself that this actually happened! I wanted to be a #ClinicalPsychologist since I was maybe 17. It was a loooong, uncertain journey to get here but I'm so glad it all worked out 🙏🏻

Couldn't have done it without my loved ones supporting me by being there when I needed them and giving me space to do my own thing when I had a million things to do on my to-do list 🥰

When I started the doctorate, I said I'd stress-exercise/stress-dance instead of stress-eat or drink. Gym, dancing and looking after doggos definitely kept me sane during these past three years 🥰

Haven't been able to share our photos and videos from @studio.rays on my instagram grid until now because final year of #DClinPsy (esp the thesis) has definitely kept me very busy! 🙈

Thankfully our lovely photographers and videographers have shared some of our gorgeous pics and tagged me so they are on my grid that way hehe ❤️ We got our lovely photos about maybe two months ago and I'm still blown away by how incredible they are! 🤯😍

There’s something about standing somewhere that has stood for centuries and wondering what its walls remember. The footsteps that have passed through, the conversations they’ve overheard, the prayers, happiness, heartbreak and entire lives they’ve quietly held.

Ohhh #Nepal 🇳🇵
I hadn't really allowed myself to read too much about the flood during the week and only just getting around to looking into it now.. and letting myself feel. My heart feels heavy 🥺❤️

A country that contributes so little to climate change is suffering so much because of what is happening globally. Reading about the rate glaciers and snow on the himalayas/mountains are melting made me panic because seeing #nepali mountains is still on my to-do list 🥺 I thought I had my whole life to do it 💔

Thank you to friends and family for checking in on me- my family are safe (in #Kathmandu so its far from where the floods happened). Shocking to see the footage and photos. So many people affected and the destruction 🥺💔 Just when things were starting to get better..

I can't believe how quickly this year has gone! 😳🤯
2025- So many things happened this year!!

Visited Nepal after 12 years (only Ktm though- still need to go to Pokhara, hopefully hikes and one of the Base Camps next time!?), it was Richie's first time in Nepal! So glad we mamaged to book a photoshoot and video with @studio.rays 🤩

Got to see my sister get married to the loveliest brother-in-law I could have! 🥰💕

Was very lucky to "borrow" Leo, the cutest pomeranian multiple times and have our godbabies, @mimiiggycornwall and Tony for around 8 weeks over Spring and then again for a few more days in July and December- couldn't have asked for better company during thesis time apart from Richie obvs! 🐕🤗

This year has seen me finish my doctorate in #ClinicalPsychology- submitted my HUGE thesis, passed my viva (actually enjoyed this!) and graduated as a Dr- wahoooo! 🤓🎉 Couldn't have done it without my husband- without whom, I'd probably have survived just on Huel for 1/2 of the year. Glad I stuck to "stress move/exercise/dance instead of stress eat and drink" motto- hopefully can attend more dance classes and events next year 🤞🏼💃🏻

Got to meet our friends' twin girls! 👶🏻👶🏻Started working as a Clinical Psychologist ❤️ Went to see Santa Paws with our godbabies- a doggy grotto eek! This was also Richie and my last year in Liverpool 🥹

This year has seen me do a few things I thought I could or would never do 😇 I feel like I have also neglected certain friendships/relationships 🙈- hopefully will have more time and energy for this next year and see my family more ❤️

2025, overall you were really good to me. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of my year- dance and gym community, you have helped keep me sane and I'm so grateful 🙏🏼2026 I am ready for you- please be wonderful, k? 😘
