September, you were… SOMETHING…. 😂

MSU football was happening (and yes, I’m still a BAMA fan so please don’t fight me in these comments 😂❤️🤍), Foxy turned 13 🥹🐈, there were airplanes and adventures, food poisoning, workouts that humbled me and strengthened me, adult coloring books because apparently this is who I am now 😂, A Living Testimony Podcast kept growing, and through ALL of it… there was a LOT of prayer. 🙏🏽

God has a way of reminding you that you don’t have to have everything figured out when you know Who does.

“Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.” — Proverbs 16:3

So goodbye, September. 👋🏼 You were full of football, flights, fur babies, fitness, creativity, growing pains, answered prayers, unanswered prayers, and plenty of “Lord… you see what’s happening over here, right?” 😂

And HELLOOOOO OCTOBER! 🍂👋🏾

New month. Same God. Same faith. New opportunities to grow, create, pray, laugh, lift heavy things, color outside the lines, and keep becoming who God called me to be.

Let’s be real for a second.

1 Peter 5:7 says to “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”

But some of us (cough, me) treat our worries like a luxury handbag we refuse to put down. 👜

The word “cast” actually means to throw or hurl. It’s not a gentle “here you go.” It’s a “this is heavy, it’s ruining my vibe, and I am launching it away from me” kind of vibe.

Stop trying to micromanage the universe. You are not built to carry all that stress, but God literally volunteered for the job because He actually cares about the drama in your life.

So today, we are throwing the anxiety away and letting Him handle it. Who’s with me? 👇🏽

August, you were BUSY. 😂

Gym days, getting stronger than I’ve ever been, 6 lbs down, friends wedding & bridal showers, loving on Foxy & Kang, hot Mississippi days 🥵, and launching Season 2 of @alivingtestimonypodcast 🎙️

But through it all, the biggest blessing has been loving Jesus more and more and seeing His faithfulness in EVERY part of my life.
