Some people ask me, “How do you do it all? The business, single motherhood, the conference…” And although I could give many answers, the simplest is HER.

My biggest teacher, my best friend, my mom.

When life kicks me while I’m down, I think of her. How she has faced death’s door many times and still never quits.

When things feel uncomfortable and uncertain, I think of her. How she has always been my constant through every season, no matter how dark or how bright.

When life throws me curveballs and things that are unexpected, I think of her. How every time I call and ask for advice, she reminds me to ask myself first—to strengthen my own inner guidance.

Only always, I think of her.

To know you is to love you.

At 16, I was asking God what my purpose was while my body was broken and I couldn’t walk. My soul felt crushed, but my heart wasn’t defeated.

I couldn’t control what was happening to me. But I could choose to love God and the people around me as best I could, right where I was.

Now, at 24, I can look back and see how those choices shaped the way I live and serve. My heart is that every girl knows she was created on purpose and with purpose. She doesn’t need to have her whole life figured out to begin. Sometimes the next step is simply remembering who she is and choosing to keep going.

That’s part of why I created Mentorship Matters: to help girls grow in confidence, identity, and emotional resilience, rooted in the truth that they are deeply loved by God.
