What a ending to a great week at the 2026 USASA National Snowboarding Championships. On the first day of competition, @maxwell_fox_rabdau won his first Gold Medal 🥇 in the Rail Jam Competition - which also included a $500.00 check, a beautiful Gold Watch & a nice Backpack. Five days later on the last day of competition, Max won a Silver Medal 🥈and another $500.00 check & a Backpack in the Slopestyle Competition. This was by far the most competitive & exciting Slopestyle finals Max has ever competed in. After his first run, Max was in 4th place. He really needed a great final run if he wanted to make the podium. Fortunately, Max put down a solid run putting him in 1st place by 5 points. He stayed in first place with only one rider left to go. With a clutch performance, @caleb_dhaw came through on his final run putting down a scorcher when he needed it most to take the top spot. It truly was a epic finish with everyone in the finals putting down some really awesome runs. And if that wasn’t enough, Max then went on to win a Gold Medal 🥇for being the 2026 Open Class Overall Freestyle Snowboarding Champion. Needless to say it was a special week to end the season with 2-Gold Medals & 1-Silver Medal. All his hard work is paying off and I couldn’t be more proud. I personally want to thank Max’s coach, @thewillrivera at @syndicateworldwide_ for all his guidance & filming throughout the season. 🙏 I also want to thank @usperformanceacademy & Max’s sponsors, @preventsprainsocks, @purpularco & @purlwax And finally to @usasasnow United States of America Snowboard and Freeski Association & @woodwardcopper for hosting this great event each year. by @purpularco
