Resting along the beautiful Lake Volta in Big Ada is Camp Tsatse. A place where I was able to slow down, relax, explore, and try things I had never done before.

From being welcomed with a drink and having my bags taken care of before I even reached the door, to playing table tennis and archery. Then taking a boat ride to Crocodile Island to see crocodiles and monkeys… this stay was filled with new experiences.

And then came the moment I never thought would happen: I held a snake for the first time. 🐍

Would I do it again? Absolutely not. 😂

But that’s what I loved most about this experience. Camp Tsatse gave me the chance to step outside of my comfort zone, try something new, and create memories I’ll never forget. 🌿✨
