If I had to start DSA interviews from scratch again, here’s exactly what I’d do πŸ‘‡

(DON'T PAY FOR COURSES UNLESS NECESSARY)

βœ… Neetcode 150 – best list, all topics, in given order
🎯 Motive: Complete topic coverage + natural difficulty curve.

βœ… Repeat it 3–4 times until you can solve every question on paper without errors
🎯 Motive: Overlearning builds true pattern recognition and subconscious speed. No more "I've seen this but forgot the approach."

βœ… Short-form DSA YouTube (reels / shorts)
🎯 Motive: Passive daily exposure to problem variations – keeps patterns fresh.

βœ… (Optional) Mock interviews with timer + stranger
🎯 Motive: Simulate real pressure, practice talking while coding, fix time management.

βœ… 3 months grind. No shortcuts.

Save this πŸ”–

2027 is going to be a difficult year unless you strengthen your engineering skills.

This week I will talk about the exact things we need to headstart with for 2027. Stay tuned

Here’s exactly what I’d do πŸ‘‡

❌ **DON’T PAY FOR COURSES UNLESS YOU REALLY NEED THEM**

🧠 1. NEETCODE 150

The only list you need to start with.

Go through the topics **in order**.

🎯 **Motive:**
Complete topic coverage + a natural difficulty curve.

Don’t jump around randomly.
Build your foundation properly.

---

πŸ” 2. REPEAT. REPEAT. REPEAT.

Do the entire list **3–4 times.**

But here's the catch πŸ‘‡

❌ Don't just recognize the solution.
❌ Don't memorize the code.

βœ… Solve it **from scratch.**
βœ… Solve it **on paper.**
βœ… Solve it **without looking at the answer.**

🎯 **Motive:**
Overlearning builds pattern recognition.

Eventually, you stop thinking:

*"I've seen this problem before… but I forgot the approach."*

And start thinking:

*"Oh, this is a sliding window problem."* 😈

---

 πŸ“± 3. SHORT-FORM DSA CONTENT

Reels. Shorts. Problem breakdowns.

Watch them during your dead time.

πŸš— Commute
🍽️ Lunch
πŸ›οΈ Before bed

🎯 **Motive:**
Passive exposure keeps patterns fresh and exposes you to different variations of the same problem.

---

 ⏱️ 4. MOCK INTERVIEWS

Optional β€” but highly recommended.

Set a timer.
Find a stranger.
Share your screen.
Code while talking.

🎯 **Motive:**
Knowing DSA =ΜΈ performing well in an interview.

You need to practice:

πŸ—£οΈ Communication
πŸ’» Coding under pressure
⏱️ Time management
πŸ› Debugging
🧠 Thinking out loud

---

 πŸ”₯ 3 MONTHS. THAT'S IT.

No magic course.

No secret roadmap.

No 47-step productivity system.

Just **3 months of consistent practice.**

**No shortcuts.**

πŸ’Ύ **SAVE THIS FOR YOUR DSA PREP**

πŸš€ DSA Paglu Series – Day 2

Everyone tells you to solve LeetCode.

Very few tell you what to build after that.

A Mobile ToDo App might sound simple, but it teaches you skills you'll use throughout your software engineering career:

βœ… Flutter (or React Native)
βœ… Local Storage (SQLite)
βœ… REST APIs
βœ… NGINX Load Balancer
βœ… Django/Spring Boot Backend
βœ… PostgreSQL Database
βœ… End-to-end application architecture

The goal isn't to build a ToDo app.

The goal is to learn how real applications are designed, built, and scaled.

This is the second video in my DSA Paglu series, where we'll break down the development projects every software engineer should build to become industry-ready.

πŸ“Œ Save this post so you can build it later.

DSA Paglu: Day 1

With all the changes happening in our industry due to AI, companies are shifting and adjusting the way interviews are done.

No matter if you are a fresher or not, DSA IS NOT ENOUGH.

In this series, I am going to guide you through the most important projects that you should know about

They will not only makr you a better software engineer but also help you throughout your life.

We will solve 5 projects:

1. Mobile Todo App (Easy)
2. RAG Chatbot (Easy)
3. Event Booking Website (Medium)
4. Real-Time Chat App (Medium)
5. eCommerce Website (Hard)

Stay with me on this journey.

The "banned" advice that WILL save your career🚫

DSA might get you the interview, but Development gets you the job.

With companies like Amazon introducing GenAI rounds, learning system design for freshers and developing projects in college is very crucial. People are actually getting rejected because they didn't focus on development skills that matter.

Grinding LeetCode 24/7 isn't enough anymore. You need to actually know how to build things.

Don't be the engineer who can invert a binary tree but can't design a basic API. Be dangerous in both. πŸ’»

Dynamic Programming, in 3 questions 🧠

I have not only cracked Amazon but also took more than 250 codinf interviews for it.

Most people think DP is about memorizing 50 different problems. It's not β€” it's about asking the same 3 questions every time:

1️⃣ State β€” what's the minimum info needed to describe "where I am"?
2️⃣ Transition β€” how does this state depend on the ones before it?
3️⃣ Accumulation β€” how do results combine? Sum (count ways), min/max (optimize), or boolean (is it possible)?

Once you can answer those, the recursion basically writes itself. Add a cache so you're not solving the same subproblem twice, and you've got top-down DP βœ…

Then it's just pattern recognition β€” almost every DP problem falls into one of 5 shapes:
πŸ”Ή Choice β€” take it, skip it, or pick among options
πŸ”Ή Range β€” the problem shrinks over an interval (i, j)
πŸ”Ή Graph β€” moving node by node through a DAG
πŸ”Ή Knapsack β€” choices constrained by a shared budget
πŸ”Ή Subset β€” tracking which combinations are reachable

3 questions + 5 shapes = you can start almost any DP problem cold πŸ”‘

Save this for your next DP grind, and swipe through the full breakdown ➑️
