Pirati feels very personal to me.

While playing her, I found myself connecting with emotions that felt quiet, raw, and deeply human. She carries so much inside her—things she cannot always say, feelings she cannot easily explain, and a longing to be understood. Her vulnerability touched something in me.There were moments when Pirati’s emotions didn’t feel like something I was simply performing. They felt close to my own heart. Her fears, her hopes, her loneliness, and her small moments of strength stayed with me even after the camera stopped rolling. That is why Elephants in the Fog means so much to me. Pirati allowed me to look at emotions from a different place and understand a part of myself through her. I don’t think I will ever completely say goodbye to Pirati. A little piece of her will always stay with me—not just as a character I played, but as a feeling, a memory, and a part of my journey.

Pirati is very close to my heart. ❤️ by @pushpalama69

A little glimpse of me behind the scenes, just before setting off for Cannes Film Festival 2026. ✨

There’s something so special about these quiet moments before the lights, the cameras, and the excitement begin. Getting ready, feeling a little nervous, a lot grateful, and taking in every second of a journey I once only dreamed about.

This photoshoot wasn’t just about getting the perfect picture — it was about capturing how I felt in that moment: excited, thankful, and truly present and thank you so much everyone for making this greatful. by @pushpalama69

Such a lovely and memorable time with you, Dear Bhaini @pushpalama69 . ❤️
I am so happy to watch Elephant in the Fog with you and spend such a beautiful and meaningful time together. And honestly, what a wonderful film! The storytelling, the emotions, the performances, and the way the film brings the Nepali community and its experiences to the screen are truly special. It’s the kind of movie that stays with you even after you leave the theatre.
I genuinely feel proud seeing a film like this represent our Nepali community and tell a story that deserves to be seen and heard. It’s wonderful to see cinema creating space for our people, our stories, and our identity in such a thoughtful and beautiful way. ❤️

If you haven’t watched Elephant in the Fog yet, please do watch it. It’s a film to experience and celebrate. 🎬✨

And Bhaini , beyond your wonderful performance, what touched me the most was the beautiful person you are in real life. Your warmth, simplicity, and especially your humility really stayed with me. You truly have such a beautiful soul.

Keep shining, keep growing, and keep being exactly the wonderful person you are. Wishing you so much love, happiness, and success always. taken in Kathmandu, Nepal by @pushpalama69

Still taking in every single emotion from Elephants in the Fog. What director Abinash Bikram Shah and the entire team have crafted on screen is nothing short of breathtaking. Pure, honest storytelling that doesn’t just show pain and resilience, it makes you feel every quiet heartbeat of it. Seeing the community represented with such dignity, truth, and heart is so deeply moving. Stories like this don’t come by often, and they deserve every ounce of our love on the big screen. Run, don’t walk, to the cinemas before it runs out of shows! You truly cannot miss this one
