Week 3 / 52 Turning time into a landscape 🏞 by @puskame
This year I’m working on 3 performance based projects, all eagerly diving into building and choreographing routines, Daily Drawings, DD, is one of them. Leaning on the act of a drawing per day, the projects aims to encourage and create space for a dialogue between an artist and her/his work. Since 2022 I have invited another artist to join the routine for a duration of one year. Resisting the outcome-based artistic production and embracing the growth/development/digging deeper -mode of practice, the drawings are not made public. The contract made by a lawyer functions as a public image of the performance. During the 2022, the performance was run with lovely Pieter Bullen. @pieterbullen ✨ For the year 2023, I’m enthusiastic to continue with Roos Nieboer. @roosnieboer 🌿 by @puskame
Sororitas Ex Mycelio alterLife:interBeing performance at Kiisuhalli October 31, 2026! Ending our artist residency @oldmineresidency A few clips captured by wonderful people in the audience artists/writer, @suviauvi & Mikko Aarne! 🤗 For this performance the amazing dancers: Satu Laajanaho, @kirrrsikka & @kiemko joined us! Their movements generated the Microbial organisms/Symbionts through a network built in @touchdesigner using a Kinect. Kiisuhalli has a natural reverb of 6 seconds. Located at Vanha Kaivos in Outokumpu, Finland. This natural reverb is what initially drew me to this residency along with the collaborative artistic research with LPuska. Diving into the Finnish Taiga. Which is absolutely beautiful- Finland, that is! Eurorack System: The primary oscillators were @acidraintech Chainsaw, @makenoisemusic XPO which was patched into their QPAS with low pass, bandpass and smile pass into Jumbler. Jumbler and Qpas heavily modulated by a MultiMod Bongos built using Plaits into a Make Noise LxD, triggered by an Intellijel Metropolix. Two sequencers (Penta and Seq 7) into a Doepfer precision adder out to Expert Sleepers Disting EX to quantize. I played the @schreibmaschine.berlin Seq 7, I find if you push up the fader just as the voltage comes through it makes a sound similar to a water drum. @minisystem amazing Jove filter & the @eowave_modular Domino for the "Berlin School sequence. Noise to create waves and wind @jroo for the looping! Mel 9 pedal by @puskame

How to connect with more-than-human? Can the sense of touch be a form of dialogue with other living beings? As part of working on alterLife:interBeing, work by my duo-collective @sororitas.ex.mycelio with @mothantler @nanotopia_net I’ve hosted Forest Sensations: Dialogues through the sense of touch, a series of performative and dialogue-based moments in care homes in Outokumpu. Today I had a chance to continue and have a longer one-on-one conversation with one of the participants. Thank you Lea for letting me hear how your encounters with the boreal forests have been over the decades of life. Thank you also to Kotikumpu, Onni and Heikinhelmi and activity coordinators Anne and Ninja for warm welcome. @oldmineresidency #taiketukee #morethanhuman #borealforest #touch #embodiedexperience by @puskame
