Did a nice drive on a beautiful day yesterday, ending in the town of Lamy, New Mexico. The vintage box cars and lone passenger car reveal some well worn & rusty history. by @pvelasquez

We’re still at it. Doing our thing.
Missing you everyday, Kev.
Forever in my heart and in spirit. I know you’re with me.

We’ve been lucky to have this doe mule deer visiting lately, sometimes with her fawn. She wanted to come closer to drink from our bird bath but our cat Mina was being territorial and did not back down from our patio.

Morning visit from a doe & fawn mule deer. We put bird seed out for the numerous species that come & go daily, so they decided to dine. Santa Fe, New Mexico by @pvelasquez

1:57 pm. Driving back on NM 502 to Santa Fe from Los Alamos, you get a scary view of the Frijoles fire that keeps growing. On August 5th it was a 10 acre fire, it has now grown to around 13,000 acres. Can’t help but feel helpless when something of this magnitude is affecting so many. Stay safe! by @pvelasquez

A Monday visit to Taos Pueblo. Temps were in the 90’s which kept people indoors or seeking shade. The adobe structures are incredible. by @pvelasquez
