It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything, and that’s because things have been hard.

Over the past year, anxiety and stress caught up with me. Between everything happening in the world, the attacks on trans people, and the usual pressures of work and relationships, my body just gave out. I lost all of my green hair, my eyebrows, everything. It was scary and disorienting.

The good news is that I’m in a better place now. I got help, started the right medication, and my hair is growing back.

To mark the moment, I decided to trade in my little green Chevy Spark for a new Mazda MX-5. It probably wasn’t the most practical decision, but every time I take it for a drive, I can’t stop smiling.

Here’s to feeling like myself again, one small victory at a time. by @pvmaylott
