A word about the Haralson apple. 🍎

Until Honeycrisp came on the scene in 1991, the Haralson apple was the most popular Minnesota apple. It continues to be one of the most sought after apples at the orchard.

Here’s why. It’s a classic apple. The flavor is on the tart side, but it’s juicy and delicious. It’s the one pie makers and bakers seek out for all their baking needs. It’s also great for sauce, especially mixed with a sweeter apple like Cortland. Eating, baking and sauce. A win-win-win.

If you tried a Haralson, today’s the day.

And you can pick your own this weekend. 🙌 by @pvorchard
