Happy Mid-Autumn Festival! 🌕🥮

Some moments just feel better when shared.

The full moon, familiar traditions, good food, and the people we love sitting around the same table. There’s something quietly special about having someone to share these little moments with.

And perhaps that’s what makes weddings so meaningful too. Two people bringing their stories, traditions and families together, and beginning a new chapter side by side.

Wishing you a warm and happy Mid-Autumn Festival, with good company and moments worth remembering. ✨

Could this be your next wedding venue? 👀

PWPA recently visited Harris Hotel & Conventions Sunshine Penang for a site inspection and networking session with our members.

It was a great opportunity to explore the hotel, get to know the facilities, and most importantly, take a closer look at the potential wedding spaces.

For those in the wedding industry, seeing the venue in person makes a big difference. It gives our members a better understanding of what the hotel has to offer before planning or hosting an event there.

A big thank you to the Harris Hotel & Conventions Sunshine Penang team for the warm welcome and for giving our members the chance to connect, explore and learn more about the property. 🤝✨

Here’s to more meaningful connections and collaborations within our wedding community!

A good evening to come together again. 🤍

PWPA recently held our Town Hall Meeting, bringing our members together for an evening of updates, discussions and idea-sharing.

A big thank you to all our members who joined us. It was a great opportunity to catch up, share thoughts and keep everyone updated on our upcoming activities, ongoing initiatives and the direction we’re heading towards in the months ahead.

For those who couldn’t make it this time, we missed having you with us and hope to see you at our next gathering!

It’s always a pleasure to exchange ideas with wedding professionals from different parts of the industry. Beyond the discussions, these gatherings give us a chance to reconnect with familiar faces, catch up with old friends and hear different perspectives from across our wedding community.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to be part of the evening and contribute to the conversations. We look forward to more opportunities to connect, collaborate and bring more ideas to life together. ✨

The wedding industry can go beyond weddings.

This morning, PWPA was pleased to be part of the press conference for The Heroes of Jin Yong Charity Concert 2026, happening this 10 October at Dewan Sri Pinang.

As our PWPA President shared during the press conference, the wedding industry is never just about weddings themselves.

Through culture, music, performance and creativity, professionals from different fields can come together, exchange ideas and create meaningful collaborations beyond our usual industries.

That is also something we hope to continue encouraging within PWPA — for our members to explore new connections, new possibilities and more opportunities to collaborate across different creative fields.

This concert is a great example of that spirit, bringing together orchestral and traditional Chinese music, live performance, martial arts, dance and other art forms inspired by the world of Jin Yong.

More importantly, 60% of the ticket proceeds will be donated to 4Paws Penang, supporting its work in providing a safer and more permanent home for over 700 rescued dogs.

We’re happy to play a small part in a project where culture, creativity, collaboration and a good cause come together.

See you on 10 October 2026!🥰
