Range Rover LWB

Jonathan has been a PW Pro customer for over a decade, and it has been quite a journey.

It started in the Nissan GTR community, where we wrapped his GTR, returned it a couple of years later for a full rewrap in a different colour, swapped the boot lid for a duckbill, and made a host of other modifications.

Since then, Jonathan has brought us Audi SQ7s, Urban Defenders, and more besides, and every car he changes gets the full treatment.

This time it is the big one: A long wheelbase Range Rover only a few weeks old, finished in Charente Grey, and it is every bit as imposing in person as you would expect.

Jonathan wanted something a little different, so rather than a straightforward gloss PPF across the whole car, we combined contrasting finishes, using Xpel Ultimate Plus on the gloss black sections and Xpel Stealth on the body colour panels, letting the two work together to create a subtle but striking result.

Here is a rundown on what we did on this Range Rover LWB:

✅ Contrast PPF — Gloss and Satin: Xpel Ultimate Plus applied to all black sections for deep gloss protection, and Xpel Stealth across all body colour panels for a satin finish, creating a deliberate, complementary contrast across the whole car.

✅ Dual Ceramic Coating: Xpel Fusion Classic over the gloss PPF sections and Xpel Fusion Satin over the Stealth areas, keeping each finish performing as intended and protected long term.

Volkswagen Golf GTI Edition 50

The Golf GTI turns 50 this year, and Volkswagen has marked the occasion with the Edition 50, the most powerful production GTI ever built.

325PS, a Nurburgring lap record, and finished in Dark Moss Green, one of just two colours exclusive to this anniversary model, it is a genuine future classic in the making.

The owner found us online and came in planning a Level 3 front end and sills.

However, after a conversation at drop off, the customer had second thoughts, and a decision was made to go the whole way, which is always the right call on a car like this in our eyes.

Here is a rundown on what we did on this Golf GTI Edition 50:

✅ Full Preparation Wash: Complete wash, iron fallout removal, tar removal and decontamination to ensure every surface was perfectly clean before installation began.

✅ Level 4 Full Body PPF: Full car coverage with paint protection film, extended and tucked wherever possible. Front, doors, backs of doors, bonnet edges, wings and bumper all addressed with every available edge hidden for a completely seamless result.

Ferrari F430 Spider

The F430 Spider in Grigio Silverstone is one of those combinations that just works perfectly.

Low mileage, few owners, beautifully specced, and genuinely appreciating in value, the earlier Ferraris are having a real moment right now and this one is a proper investment piece.

This is the first car we have done for Steve, a local client starting to build a collection, who came to us on the recommendation of Wayne and Mark at @parkwaycarsuk on Nottingham Road. We work with Parkway a good few times a year, and it's always great to receive a recommendation from them.

Steve wanted the car properly protected from the off, and we were happy to oblige. The finish on this installation is all in the details, removing the wing indicators, bonnet badge, rear Ferrari badge and various small trims to get the film underneath and put everything back exactly as it was. No visible edges, no shortcuts, just a clean result.

Off the back of this F430, Steve has already booked his 488 in for mid November. A great start to the relationship.

This stunning 750S Spider came in for our full Level 4 PPF and ceramic coating package, and as always, the focus was on doing the job properly, extending and tucking the film wherever possible for a clean, seamless result.

The car belongs to Carl, a client we go back a long way with. We worked together over 10 years ago, and it's brilliant to have him back.

Aston Martin Vantage GT8

If you don't know what a GT8 is, it deserves a proper introduction.

Based on the Vantage but sharing very little with it. Carbon body panels, around 100kg lighter, a roll cage, centre lock wheels, and a track focus that makes it one of the most serious road legal Astons ever built. Rarely seen and genuinely special.

This one belongs to a valued long standing client, who we’ve had the pleasure of working on numerous cars for.

The car is white, but the decade old paint protection film had yellowed badly. Back then edge tucking and software refinement didn't exist, so the film ran straight to every panel edge with no finishing work.

We had to be extremely careful. The pearl white paint is known to delaminate from the carbon substrate, there's green detail beneath the lacquer too, so every centimetre of old PPF came off with extreme care over a day and a half.

Here's a rundown on what we did on this GT8:

✅ Full PPF Removal: Yellowed decade-old film removed across the entire car without any damage to the paint or carbon beneath.

✅ Full Machine Polish and Paint Correction: Complete machine polish with targeted spot corrections restoring the paint to a beautiful finish.

✅ Level 4 Full Body PPF: Full coverage using modern techniques with every edge addressed, door tops, window rubbers and bonnet shut lines all wrapped cleanly.

Porsche GT4

This one is a great example of how a project can take on a life of its own.

A local client came to us with a simple enough request, he had some paint protection film on his car, he noticed a small imperfection, and wanted fresh film on the front end.

We had a conversation and originally discussed the sills, then a bit more, and by the time he dropped the car off we were talking about a full Level 4 package.

Then something happened on the day of drop off that changed everything.

Another black Porsche was just coming out of the shop, a GT3 RS that had just had a full Stealth conversion with satin black bodywork and gold wheels. He took one look at it and said, "I want one of those."

What started as a gloss black car getting a bit of fresh film turned into a complete aesthetic transformation, and honestly it's one of those projects that reminds you why this job is so enjoyable.

Ferrari F8 Tributo

This one was a really satisfying project from start to finish.

The F8 Tributo belongs to Bobby, a first time Ferrari owner and new Ferrari Owners Club member, who came to us on the recommendation of fellow club members after being unhappy with the PPF on the car since purchase. The film had been installed inconsistently and Bobby voiced his concerns before being pointed our way. We met with him, had a discussion, and a few weeks later the car arrived at our unit.

Many Ferraris leave dealerships with PPF applied over paintwork that hasn't been properly finished, so rather than just re applying the film, we took the time to do it properly.

Here's a rundown on what we did on this F8 Tributo:

✅ Original PPF Removal: Existing film carefully and safely removed in full, returning the car to its original condition without damage.

✅ Full Decontamination and Machine Polish: Thorough wash, fallout removal, tar removal and decontamination followed by a machine polish to bring the paintwork up to the standard it deserved.

✅ Level 4 Full Body PPF: Full coverage film across every panel, fully extended and tucked. Roof antenna removed to eliminate its edge, side trims taken off for clean tucking underneath, and all badges removed for a seamless finish.

✅ Custom Yellow Stripe Decals: Bobby wanted yellow detailing after seeing another car he admired. We worked with our print partner to produce and install the stripes over the fresh PPF.

✅ Full Ceramic Coating: All exterior surfaces coated over the new PPF and decals for long term hydrophobic protection.

✅ Wheel and Caliper Treatment: Wheels removed, cleaned, prepped and coated inside and out along with the calipers.

✅ Interior Clean and Protect: Leather cleaned and protected, fabric guard applied, and all glass cleaned and coated inside and out.

Porsche 992 Turbo S Convertible

Arctic Grey on a 992 Turbo S Convertible is a combination that really stops you in your tracks, and this one belongs to Simon, a client who first came to us back in 2009.

Simon had a Mitsubishi Evo back then that we looked after, so it was brilliant to reconnect after a 15 to 16 year gap with a different car.

The Porsche had some PPF already on it when Simon bought it, but part of the film had been damaged and the bodywork needed attention, so after a good conversation we put together a full plan to reset the car completely.

Here's a rundown on what we did on this 992 Turbo S Convertible:

✅ Full Decontamination and Machine Polish: Complete wash, fallout removal, tar removal and decontamination followed by a machine polish to remove swirl marks and bring the paintwork back to its best.

✅ Fabric Roof Deep Clean: The fabric roof and all its seams thoroughly deep cleaned and restored to a like new condition before any protection went on.

✅ PPF Replacement and Addition: Damaged front bumper film removed and replaced, new film added to the engine cover, and the entire rear quarter covered from behind the front wheel, under the door, up to the roofline and back to the tail lights.

Land Rover Defender 110 Commercial HSE

The facelifted Defender 110 Commercial has been a long time coming, bringing some welcome updates across the board. Some of the main changes are new LED headlight graphics, standard fog lights, and flush smoked rear lights which give the front and rear a cleaner, more modern look, while the bonnet gets a smooth dimpled texture replacing the old checkerboard pattern.

Terry picked this up through Derby Land Rover and it arrived in the stunning new Woolstone Green, one of two new colours introduced on the facelifted model.

Porsche 718 GT4

This customer is one of those clients who's also a long standing friend, and this one was a real pleasure to work on.

We first looked after Lee's Miami Blue 718 Cayman a few years back, applying a Level 3 front end PPF that has done its job many times over since.

Lee is a genuine supporter of everything we do here at PW Pro, a regular on European driving trips, and was one of the DJs at our recent birthday celebration.

This car came through @auto100uk in Huthwaite, and Lee was in touch throughout the buying process planning exactly what he wanted done. It arrived as a second hand purchase, so we started with a full day in the workshop to bring it back to as close to new as possible.
