PYO Music Institute has been awarded $1 million through Pennsylvania’s Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP), authorized by @governorshapiro, to renovate the Walter R. Garrison Center, our home at historic Saint Patrick Hall. Built in 1883, the building will gain an elevator and a new ADA-accessible entrance, upgraded rehearsal and classroom spaces, and a restored historic façade. The result will be a more welcoming, accessible home for the more than 1,000 students we serve each year, with construction expected to begin in 2027. Thank you to Governor Josh Shapiro, Senator Nikil Saval, Representative Ben Waxman, Representative Jordan Harris, and City Council President Kenyatta Johnson for championing this project.
