Cranberry Wilderness photo dump pt. 1 by @pyrosonic

So, apparently I have become the “hound whisperer” Last week as I loaded out from my campsite in the Cranberry Wilderness, I was approached by a lost hunting dog. (2nd time in about 10 years) She was very insistent that I adopt her, trying to climb in the car and even chasing me down the road as I drove away. It was heartbreaking. I took a pick of the contact info on her collar and left a message with her owner as to her whereabouts. (She also had a gps collar on that appeared to be functioning) I might have taken her to the ranger station to be looked after, but it was about 40 miles in the opposite direction I was heading. People familiar with bear dogs always say this is routine and no big deal, but I worry about her. by @pyrosonic

Stag party in the back 40. There were actually 3 of them, all bucks. The 3rd one wandered away before I could get a pic. (Sorry for the poor quality, this was zoomed WAY IN) by @pyrosonic
