A Qatar study by Weill Cornell Medicine–Qatar and Sidra Medicine, in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Health and Hamad Medical Corporation, found that RSV was associated with more severe illness in children than influenza or COVID-19.

Within the study, hospital admission was about four times as common with RSV, while intensive care admission was over three times as common. Researchers analysed 4,360 respiratory illness episodes among 3,932 children under 18 who attended Sidra Medicine’s emergency department during 2022–2025.

(scholarsarchive.byu.edu)

(nature.com, apa.org)

Born in the ’80s? “We’re still young” has entered the research discussion! 😂

A US paper proposes ages 30–45 as “established adulthood,” a stage distinct from midlife—covering many people born in the 1980s.

Cambridge researchers identified five phases of brain development, while a German study involving Stanford found that people now perceive old age as beginning later than previous generations did.

These studies don’t officially classify an entire generation as young… but a few grey hairs and an early bedtime don’t mean we’re past it! 😂

Tag your friend who always says, “We’re still young!” 😎
Do you still feel young, or does being called “uncle” hit a little too hard? 😂👇
