behind the scenes @ the most fun late-night may shoot at yale with Maya, for an editorial-type series made the week before our grad!!

the whole outfit down to the necklace was thrifted by me the week prior biking across southern ct’s goodwills (the pants from @crushvintagecph last summer.. all of it looked so so good on her I just had to gift it for the hours modeling on the shoot)

you can see the interesting lighting setup — both lights are plugged in through the window, and a clamp light attached to the window itself. Maya is standing on 5 books under each foot, borrowed temporarily from the common room behind her to make her heels visible in the shot (didn’t totally work out but the height was still worth it)

it was super cold for some reason despite it being may, but Maya fought through while I focused the film camera for about 15/30 minutes

and yes i positioned my camera on one of those concrete blocks & i only fell twice
