Brown. Proud. And part of the American story.

For Hispanic & Latin Heritage Month, we’re celebrating through a Chicano lens.

For us, that means remembering the stories we grew up with. Oldies playing in the background. Family photos. Lowriders. Food, art and traditions passed from one generation to the next. But it also means remembering the walkouts, the organizing, the Brown Berets, the Chicano Moratorium and the generations who demanded to be seen, heard and treated equally.

That history matters.

Because Chicano culture isn’t just something we inherited. It was fought for, protected and passed down.

And at a time when Latino communities are once again being turned into political talking points, knowing where we come from feels more important than ever.

We know our history.
We celebrate our culture.
And we’re damn proud of both.
