This is Maes reference! Featuring Oliver and Ruby in all their glory, those two are owned by @starsdrawnpastel

I explain Mae's past in the last post of her, but her whole arc involves her dealing with an entity that has been feeding off of the trauma & fear brought on by her fathers actions, it's akin to a spirit, and it haunts her as a manifestation of her guilt, paranoia and melancholy she carries with her.

This entity can appear as her father, a victim of her father's, or in the form of Charlie the clown, her favourite childhood character that she used to associate with her father. It knows exactly what scares her, and so it will show up in many different ways inside of her home, slowly driving her inch by inch towards absolute insanity. She suffered a break in when she was much younger, and this entity likes to try and coax her to relive and or re-experience this trauma by convincing her that it's happening again.
But after long enough, after the sleepless nights of hearing noises all throughout her kitchen, talking, groaning, she starts to prefer that ladder, she starts hating her home, and spending nights at her sons dorm instead, or even resorting to sleeping in her backyard since the openness & lack of walls, doorways or closets starts to feel safer for her.

Drew a reference for Sophia !! It's been such a long time since I've drawn her, and I've had a ball developing her character. Being able to write through her eyes has been a treat & I've been pretty locked in on Eastercliff since I've been really honing in on what roles everyone has since they're no longer in highschool! Anyway here is a brief description of Sophia & her arc! Tw for suicide!

She grew up going to several different elementary schools, before landing in Silverwood in middle school. Being quite isolated and intimidated by many of the already established friend groups she was spending a lot of time by herself until she started talking to someone named Corben. Corben introduced her to his friends, Devlin and Melody. She was usually the mediator between the group while it started to fall apart, Corben's resentment for others often bled into personal conflict with the group and she was often the one picking up the slack and being the voice of reason. When their friend Devlin ditched the group she became quite bitter, frustrated that she couldn't fix it, couldn't keep them together. When Melody started to drift away, even sympathizing with some people who picked on their friend group she became very hostile towards her, latching onto Corben and becoming his white knight. When they both formally told Melody to leave them alone & that they wanted nothing to do with her considering she was now befriending people they actively hated & had frequent conflict with, Corben started to further decline mentally, he grieved Melody and Devlin and started to be short with Sophia, his grief for his old friends began to cause him to take her for granted. He however couldn't care less, Sophia being there & always defending and trying to make him feel better started to be something he resented about her. She had no idea what to do about this and after he got upset at her for always asking so many questions she pulled back, and stopped talking to him as much. Hoping he would come to his senses and go back to normal. -> continue on next slide

Mae!! She's the daughter of the notorious serial killer Charlie Rimmons. When he had gone on his spree she was staying with her aunt, and since she lost both of her parents at the age of 12 (her mother being his first victim, and Charlie taking his own life) she had grown up between households, since she was a difficult and troubled child. Aunts and uncles had a hard time keeping her around.
The corporate organization CHROMA has been trying to weasel into her life since the initial incident and when she was 18 they started presenting her many, many contracts. They wanted the property of her father, his things & even her to present in interviews and documentaries. She refused to show, still being mortified by the way both of her parents passed, but took a deal that allowed her identity to be wiped & concealed from the public, so long as they gain ownership of everything under the Rimmons name, while they pay for a legal name change to Mae Lohst (one of her aunt in laws last name since she was someone Mae had been close with growing up)
Since then she had raised a son, Romeo who grew up without a clue into who his grandfather was.

Mae's face

Mae's mom and dad! Margaret and Charlie

C's Cirque! Her favourite TV show that was made in the 60s & shaped her entire childhood. The main teacher was named Charlie and she used to pretend she was Dipsy (the cloud) getting taught the laws and rules of the world from her dad. Since she looked up to him lots for being a scientist.
He would also teach her various fun facts since he had lots of random knowledge from the work he does.

A graveyard (a lot of people died during Charlie's spree and she carries the weight of his actions LOTS)
AND
Her Polaroid camera that she used to have growing up

Her collection of CsC merchandise, and the various books she had on her shelf (she snuck in the baby's first bible, her parents were very atheist)

Her cat, Stuffins who got sick and passed away due to neglect
