I had an IV in my arm for months last year. I still chose to create some amazing memories. I am a #HSWarrior. HS is a very painful condition that I’ve dealt with for 10 years, only having relief for the last two years.

I had an IV in every picture and video posted in this reel and I truly enjoyed pushing through and living my best life. God is good. You have to believe that he is being good to YOU.

Once I started to TRUST that God is good to ME, my life transformed into an amazing life.

12 years ago, the sky opened over us.

400 people watched us stand in the rain and promise forever. Today, on our 12th anniversary, the rain found us again. Only now, forever looks different. It looks like 3 children. It looks like businesses, dreams, sacrifices, conversations, inside jokes, long nights, prayers, and a village we have built around the life we chose.

As I cross 15 miles of water from Bridgeport to Port Jefferson, I think of us. Marriage feels a lot like this ferry ride. You leave one shore believing in another. Sometimes the water is calm. Sometimes the weather turns. Sometimes all you can do is trust the vessel, hold on to each other, and keep moving.

I could never be the perfect husband nor a flawless captain of our ferry. But through every mile, every storm, every season, I love you.
