On this Throwback Thursday we go back to 2024 when Vietnamese Canadian filmmaker and cinematographer Quan Luong's (@quanluong_) beautiful short documentary "Tailor Made" was released.

Contax ZEISS lenses paired with the Sony FX6 were Quan's choice to portray Tam Nguyen, who came to Canada in the 1980s as part of the Vietnamese "boat people" and used his tailoring skills to build a new life.

Contax ZEISS lenses date back several decades but are very popular to this very day - in their original form or masterfully rehoused by specialist companies.
