It’s a…HAZELNUT! We are super proud to present you our new Fall flavor: hazelnut. User manual (kindly suggested by a trusted client): 1. Take the cake out of the fridge 2. Wait 30 minutes (if you manage to) 3. Indulge into its creamiest texture and deep Piedmont’s hazelnut aroma. Confident it will become your new favourite! #quantobasca #basquecheesecake #zurichfood by @quanto.basca
Meet Virgi (@vivi_chetipassa), Marco’s girlfriend and, together with Claude, social media manager of Quanto.Basca. All unpaid, and Claude actually gets a better salary than her, but it’s out of love. And yes, this very caption was written with a little help from the extended team. When she’s not scheduling posts or building commercial decks, you’ll find her halfway up a climbing wall or teaching yoga in a studio. On weekends she loves to surprise her body with the wildest mash-up: yoga in the morning, outdoors during the day and maybe a rave to finish. Falling asleep to hard groove is non-negotiable, and dancing until the sun comes up makes her feel alive. She believes that in a world full of colors, being all black or all white is a bit too boring. Quanto.Basca Basque cheesecake. #basquecheesecake #quantobasca by @quanto.basca
Happiness doesn’t need a fancy office or a fancy desk with 3 screens. Sometimes it’s simply falling in love with one cake, getting it right, and tasting it as if it was the first time every single time. What makes you happy? Something new is swirling in the kitchen. Golden, silky and a little bit toasty. It definitely feels like a hug 💕 Are you ready for it? Quanto.Basca Basque cheesecake. #basquecheesecake #quantobasca by @quanto.basca
As the miserable season begins in Zurich, Lemon & Basil is leaving the stage. Yes, we are baking something new, but no, we’re not telling you which one(s), yet 😉 Until then - precisely November 2nd - 25% off the last Lemon & Basil cakes with code LASTBASIL25, in the 8 and 16 people sizes. Meet Marco (@taglio__), better known as Taglio, the founder and pastry chef of Quanto.Basca. He moved to Zurich as a data analyst, and it took him a while to admit that this wasn’t the path that would make him happy and fulfilled. After months of testing recipes and developing the product, he decided to open Quanto.Basca. Marco doesn’t like dark chocolate, almonds in any shape, sugar, and he finds New York cheesecake far too sweet. He hates almost all sweet treats, and still he fell in love with the Basque cheesecake, because of its creamy texture and its slightly burnt, caramelized outside that balances the sweetness of the batter inside. He likes this dessert because it’s indulgent, yet it never feels heavy, and somehow you cannot stop eating it. When he’s not in the kitchen, he’s curious about wild animals, fish, and fishing and we love him exactly as he is. What’s your most unexpected obsession? Golden and burnt outside? Lovely. But we only breathe if the knife reveals a perfectly creamy inside. Goosebumps, every time 🔪 Quanto.Basca Basque cheesecake. #basquecheesecake #quantobasca #zurichfood #zurich by @quanto.basca

Yes, it’s really this creamy - exactly the same texture it had in our dreams. Quanto.Basca Basque cheesecake, your new favorite in Zürich. 📸: @letizia.gualinetti by @quanto.basca
An Italian baker. A Spanish night. Two Basque cheesecakes walking into a room that actually knows the real deal. Slightly intimidating, but mostly exciting. Huge thanks to @oubytori, @redondo.atelier, and @casaatierra for putting together a night this special, and for having Quanto.Basca as the cherry on top. The love and enthusiasm around the table left us beyond the moon! This is exactly why we started Quanto.Basca in the first place: bringing people together around something simple and delicious. Two more special thanks: 📸 to @letizia.gualinetti for these beautiful pics 🍽️ + 🥂 to @emae.studio and @drunken_grapes for making the evening even more special #basquecheesecake #quantobasca by @quanto.basca
