It’s finally happening! 🥲✌🏻🙆🏻‍♀️🍶 I’m thrilled to announce the launch of my own creative sake bar pop-up right here in Seattle!Join me on Friday, 9/20, for the very first event in the back room of Kai’s Thai Street Food & Bar—a space some of you might recognize from the sake x jazz nights. It’s a cozy spot with 90’s artwork, a charming wooden bar top, and some quirky lighting that’s managed to stand the test of time. I’m excited to fill this space with new memories and would love for you to be a part of it.This pop-up is the start of a series of events I’m planning through the end of the year, and I couldn’t have done it without Kai’s support and their willingness to embrace my vision. I’m eager to breathe new life into this restaurant and share what I love most: serving my amazing community, many of whom have become dear friends.Follow @sakenoire_ for updates and jazzy sake content. ✨SAKE X JAZZ PRESENTS 🍶🎷✨My camping sensei and sister-from-another-mother, Soma @somamutsuko of Kamonegi/Hannyatou, and Sake Noire Chef Yael @nam.revlis are teaming up for a very special sake x jazz pop-up:✨ Japanese Fishermen’s Feast📍 Light Sleeper @light_sleeper_seattle 🗓 Sunday 1/18⏰ Doors at 4pm | Jazz set at 8pm @juniidamusic After plenty of trial runs at Light Sleeper, we’ve dialed this experience so everyone gets to fully enjoy incredible food, thoughtfully paired sake, and live jazz. There are multiple ticket options, so make sure to read the details on my website before grabbing yours.This dinner is inspired by recent coastal trips and summer grill sessions—plus a very determined (and failed 😅) attempt at catching razor clams. December happenings in somewhat of a particular order cos life is sometimes chaotic but that’s why it’s fun. Started December with a big ol jazz party, attended a bunch of cool ass pop ups, made cool shit with my friends, and ending 2025 knowing who I am and what I do can never be found in a curios store out on Long Beach…or razor clams for that matter.Drank a lot of sake though! And can’t wait to drink more on NYE. by @quanxx

Third trips the charm and Japan’s magic still sweeps me off my feet, with the land of sake forever romancing me. ✨ Endless gratitude to @jotosake for guiding me through an unforgettable journey— from pairing exclusive sake with the best braised konnyaku in Tokyo, to navigating snow-covered roads in Yamagata, eyes closed to the mesmerizing lights of Okayama at night. I even got to meet the GOAT himself, one of my heroes in the industry, the life giver of Wataribune rice. I let myself lose control at Hiroshima’s finest bar and sang a famous Kochi city drinking song between Kyoto’s ancient walls. A heartfelt thank you to @rmmmmmmm and @shizuka_wakashita for curating, leading, and inspiring me to continue chasing my dreams. And to the brewers, who poured their hearts into our experiences— your time, passion, and love will never be forgotten. I’ll share your stories, your artistry, and your spirit with my community, forever grateful for your craft.
