Two days into this full leg sleeve 🔥
Art collector came all the way from California and ended up in Virginia to lock in. Two full days focused on the outer leg, and we still have plenty more canvas to bring this entire sleeve together.

She made the trip and left Virginia with some serious work on her. This is only the beginning.

Caught between creation and destruction, I carry both and choose what I become. Part 2 complete .. who knows maybe you should stick around for a part 3.

ART COLLECTORS ONLY.🅿️

Starting this full sleeve with a cohesive samurai design. All my client told me was that he wanted a samurai, and he trusted me with the rest. That’s how some of my best work comes to life. My clients bring me their vision, and give me the creative freedom to turn it into something beyond what they imagined.

Truly the last custom piece before I moved from Virginia Beach to Norfolk Va. COMPLETELY reworked the design and incorporated some main ideas he wanted like the centipede in the eye😵‍💫🔥

Capping off this section of her African roots-inspired leg sleeve. I like to leave the face of the inner and outer calf for the strongest visuals because they give me the widest canvas to really cast the design, maximize the space, and let the detail speak.

My style is black monochrome realism. I’m one of very few artists who shades exclusively with black ink, building my values through black alone. You can already see how rich, dark, and detailed this piece healed.

Slide through 👉🏾
For this section, we brought her vision together with an African civilization-inspired scene, incorporating the water lily she wanted and working tribal patterns directly into the temple architecture so everything feels like one environment instead of separate images stacked together.

Black monochrome realism has become a signature of my work. I build an entire realistic image using black ink alone no gray wash, no premixed washes. I control the depth and saturation of black to create every value because I love how rich and dark my tattoos heal. It gives my work a look that’s bold from a distance while still carrying the fine details up close.

Truly locked in 😵‍💫

So grateful for the special people I get to meet through what I do. Some clients turn into friendships, some start to feel like family, and moments like this remind me that it’s bigger than just the tattoos. My client surprised me with a gift, and I’m truly grateful to be able to do what I love and connect with amazing people along the way. 🖤

My favorite song is Rodeo Drive by Gunna. In such a short amount of time, she picked up on that and created this for me to have in my new studio here in Norfolk. She even incorporated the year I established myself in realism tattooing—the year I made the decision to pursue what I love and tattoo full-time. It’s crazy how something so personal can come from someone I met through my art. 🤞 taken in Norfolk, Virginia by @quanz_artz

With any piece I do, especially on women, I’m big on making sure the design actually complements the anatomy of the client. I don’t just print a stencil, slap it on and make the body adjust to the design. I make the design adjust to the body.

For this piece, I used her leg as the actual canvas measuring, scaling and positioning every element so the flowers and hummingbirds naturally follow her shape and fill the area the way they’re supposed to. That’s a big part of what makes every piece I create one-of-one.

Appreciate my client for giving me the creative freedom to do what I do. I’m glad she trusted the process, but even more glad she’s proud of what she gets to wear. 🖤

We took this beautiful photo of his granddad and used the help of software to bring a memory back to life. His granddad was a welder, so we recreated a scene that captures him in his element doing the work he was known for. Turning a real memory into something he can carry with him forever.
