Westerbrarup im Norden. Ein Bahnhof an der Grenze zu Dänemark. Rein fiktiv.

Endlich Betrieb in Westerbrarup.

Finally some operations in Westerbrarup.
A DSB express train is entering the station near the boarder. Wonderful MCK model of the MZ II is pulling some Dekas carriages. Attached to the end is another MCK model of a postal carriage.

Bravo Piko.
V90 by @piko.modellbahn . Long awaited by model railroaders, worth the wait. A few pictures while shunting in Westerbrarup. Good job Piko👍

Westerbrarup Bahnhofsvorplatz.

Sonntagnachmittag in Westerbrarup.

Sunday afternoon in Westerbrarup. A common scene some years ago. Conscripts on their way to the barracks after a way to short weekend. In the background a @brawa.de commuter train I waiting for the signal.

Westerbrarup gods shed. The local market trader is loading his Citroën. A lot of little details bring the layout to life. The stunning @artitec delivery van has some extra lighting as the highly modified @auhagenmodell gods shed.

Bekohlung Westerbrarup.

Coaling Station Westerbrarup. Complete scratch, see the different steps in the pictures. Polystyrene core with a @revellofficial putty layer. Using different @maquett.nl and evergreen profiles and sheets I built the rest. The crane ist a very ancient @kibri model I pimped a lot. The crane rope is made of two thin wires drilled with a small drill. Way more realistic than plastic or a thread. Paint, washings, coal from @unique_scenery_products abd @artitec figures complete the scene. @rts_greenkeeper was used for the static gras, other products include @martin_welberg , Mbr and @mininatur.de.
Please leave a comment if you like the scene.

Night falls in Westerbrarup.
All the lamps are weathered, wired and in place. I used @brawa.de, @viessmannmodel , Weinert products and quite a few lamps I built myself. A Tams light computer is used for controlling.
The layout lights are simple and cheap led stripes. The effects are satisfying and they listen to voice commands.

Fountain at Westerbrarup train station. A small detail, in former times perfectly normal. The excellent @artitec fountain is situated in the little station park. Enclosed by the @joswood_gmbh fence.

News from Westerbrarup. The little kiosk in the eastern parts of the station is regularly frequented by rail workers and commuters. Some of them get a bit wasted from time to time and don’t know how to behave.
The @artitec Kit is just brilliant the figures by Artitec and @noch_miniature complete the picture. Little details and the surroundings round it all off. Hope you like it, please leave a comment.

Bahnhofskiosk Westerbrarup.

Westerbrarup station kiosk. As I got quite some requests how I built it, here a little description. Originating from the @auhagenmodell krakow station, I used the original annex to built it. The roof is covered with tissue, the signs downloaded from the internet. Details by @preiser_miniaturfiguren and @artitecmodels . And a lot of scratch built stuff.
