‼️ The @americanredcross national blood product supply has fallen by more than 25% since July 1!! 📉

I started donating blood in 2009 but during undergrad, I did not make it a priority. For the last four years, I have stepped it up and have been intentional about my donations. 💃🏽

In my most recent visit, I read through some of the materials and learned that only about 38% of the population is eligible to donate. But less than 10% of those who are eligible actually donate… WOW!

If you’ve never donated or if you slowed down on donating, I encourage you to get started. 🎉 It’s such an easy process and of course, I always look forward to the snacks and juice boxes at the end. 😎

If you have any questions, feel free to inbox me! I can point you in the right direction! 🌹

Did you know that cardiac arrest is the leading cause of death in the world? 🌎

Globally, cardiac arrest claims more lives than

- colorectal cancer
- breast cancer
- prostate cancer
- influenza
- pneumonia
- auto accidents
- HIV
- firearms
- and house fires

….. Combined.

I challenge you 🫵🏾 to take just 60 seconds to learn the lifesaving skills of Hands-Only CPR and the use of and AED.

About 70% of cardiac arrest that happened outside of the hospital, happen at home with someone you love. Be prepared for them. 🌹

My “no thrills” birthday party was EVERYTHING to me.

All I wanted was to be surrounded by family, friends…and food 😅….and I got just that.

My husband made sure I had everything
My daddy was the “dj”, per usual
My friends helped decorate
People came straight from work
Almost all of my uncles/play uncles showed up
Great aunties came out
My grandpa danced
We played basketball and other random games
My cousins left, and came back hungry (IYKYK)
We laughed
My cake was less than $30
We let loose
We ate hotdogs
I never ordered the pizza
And my hometown showed up for me yet again…

A good ole throwback time when nothing else mattered but everyone being together ❤️

Thank you for a time I’ll never forget, for such a big birthday 🥳
