I am so behind on posting our amazing speakers for this year’s Executive Speaker Series! 😊

One thing I love about the Executive Speaker Series is that it gives our students the opportunity to hear directly from top executives and entrepreneurs while learning more about different companies, career opportunities, internships, the hiring process, and the journeys that led each speaker to where they are today.

A special thank you to Ms. Clarice Henderson, Vice President of Human Resources – Production at Scout Motors, for spending time with our students and giving them a closer look at Scout Motors, its upcoming operations, career opportunities, and what they can begin doing NOW to prepare for future opportunities.

Bridging the gap between the classroom and the workforce!

Thank you, Ms. Henderson, for pouring into our students! ❤️💙 by @que803

🚨🚨🚨HEAL BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY!!!!

Your healing process is YOUR healing process. It doesn’t have to make sense to anyone else, and it doesn’t have to look the way others think it should.

Do not allow anyone to tell you what your healing should look like, how long it should take, or how you should navigate it.

Give yourself permission to heal in the way that brings you back to peace. There is no one-size-fits-all process for healing. Just make sure you HEAL

Thank you all for the birthday wishes and the congratulations on earning my doctorate!

🎓🥰 Life has been BUSY, and this year has brought both good and bad, but I’ve grown so much through it all. I’m learning to embrace the good, grow through the hard, and accept what I simply cannot control.

Another year of life, a whole lot of growth, and so much to be grateful for. Thank you for all the love! by @que803

What an awesome Fall Family & Community Engagement Summit, sponsored by the Orangeburg County School District!

Thank you for inviting Fusion Dance Academy and Company to be a part of such a wonderful event! We truly enjoyed connecting with families, students, and our community.

There are so many positive things happening right here in Orangeburg. You just have to SHOW UP! I also hung out with some “Cool kids” 😉🤣 by @que803

My double cousin, my Soror… 💔
I would call, and you would answer, or you would just get in the car and drive. You were a giant in your own way, never needing to say much unless something needed to be said. Your presence spoke for you.

You were the glue in every environment you entered. The one who kept people connected, showed up when it mattered, and brought a sense of strength and togetherness wherever you went. by @que803

What a journey indeed! I'll keep story time short...

I started my Ed.D. in Higher Education Leadership because I had spent over 10 years working in higher education. More than halfway through the program, the classroom started calling my name.

If you know academia, you know that earning a Ph.D. in your teaching discipline creates opportunities for full faculty rank. Even though my path changed, I was determined to finish what I started, so I proudly completed my Ed.D.

So, what's next?

I'm officially back in school for another year and a half pursuing my Ph.D. in Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship.

I'm excited to help prepare the next generation of entrepreneurs! Not just from textbooks, but from real-life experience as the owner of two brick-and-mortar businesses.

A special thank you to my professors at Nova Southeastern University for believing in me!

When I say, "Be all that you can be," I mean it! Keep growing, keep learning, and don't be afraid to start a new chapter.

🥁Today at Fusion Dance Academy & Company... I just don't understand! 😩😂🥹

➡️Ballet Class (with me):

"I'm sleepy."
"I'm hungry."
"My stomach hurts."
"My arm hurts."
"My leg hurts."
"My toe hurts."
"I forgot my ballet shoes."
"Can we take a water break?"
"How much longer?"
"Can we stretch instead?"
"Miss Que, my bun is too tight."
"I think I pulled something."
➡️”Do we HAVE to point our toes?" (At this point I’m over it 😂😂😂)
"My feet are cramping."

➡️Hip Hop (with the college instructors):
Music comes on...SEE BELOW…But Ballet is necessary 😩😩 by @que803
