I’ve learned this year that God doesn’t always remove the pain the moment we ask Him to. Sometimes He allows it because He’s building something in us that comfort never could.

This year tested me in ways I never expected. There were days I questioned everything, days I felt weak, anxious, discouraged, and unsure of what was next. But looking back, I can already see that God wasn’t abandoning me—He was refining me.

Pain has a way of stripping away everything you thought you needed until all you’re left with is Him. And sometimes that’s exactly where your greatest growth begins.

I’m not who I was at the start of this year, and for that I’m grateful. The fire didn’t destroy me—it strengthened my faith.
