Principal dancer with @lesballetsdemontecarlo

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I performed Core Meu in July 2024, not knowing that it would take me two years before I would be back on stage again with all my amazing colleagues.

Now, July 2026, I finally had the chance to rejoin the company in this beautiful celebratory piece. I can't think of a better way to return. The energy from the dancers, the musicians and the audience was incredible. I feel very grateful and appreciative of it all!

It was also a particularly special tour as the company said goodbye to some beautiful dancers as they move on to the next step in their careers. I'm so glad I could be there to celebrate them and share the stage with them one last time.

I'm so happy to have made it on stage before this season draws to a close. To tell all the people who have been supporting me and helped me through this injury, from near and far, that I made it back on stage. To the company and Jean-Christophe for giving me the opportunity to be a part of this performance, and finally enjoying the fruits of all the hardwork and perseverance that let up to this moment.

One of the most testing years of my life. Months and months of searching for answers, and the grit of lying on a pilates mat every day trying to fight back tears whilst my pain got worse. Not knowing whether I'd be able to dance again was a heavy weight to carry, whilst simultaneously pushing healthcare providers to listen to what was happening to me. A whole season passed without even being able to step into the studio.

After having desperately searched for an answer, I'm so glad I finally found a team of women who could provide a diagnosis and guide me forward.. I see a little light at the end of the tunnel. Dealing with a post-fixated unstable SI joint has rocked any ability to rely on my legs and body the way I used to. Pain changes your personality, and I listen to apps and read books to try and mentally understand what's happening.

I am still in the midst of it all, still struggling with chronic pain and a long road ahead, but will continue to work. The support from my friends, family and colleagues has kept me going. My dear friend Candela who never let a day go by without being by my side. Even a few kind or supportive words have changed my day in the moments I felt especially alone.

This summer will be different from years passed, as I continue to try to get myself back to health for next season. I appreciate everyone's support and encouragement, it means more than you know. by @queen.letitia

Some photos from the recent Gala in Seteais this past July. I loved dancing these two beautiful pas de deux's with @tworzyanski, and to share the stage with such beautiful and talented dancers. It was inspirational to watch them perform, and I have amazing memories from the weekend. Thank you @dancaemdialogos for the invitation, and the opportunity to dance in this beautiful venue 💚

Memory from the premiere of this beautiful ballet. It was such a pleasure to experience dancing this on stage, and to transform into the role of the Firebird ! Feeling very lucky indeed.
