Papaya is a delicious tropical fruit with soft, sweet flesh. Many a time I have sliced the fruit, scooped out the seeds and discarded them so that I could enjoy a delicious plate of it. However little did I know that the part that I was discarding had incredible benefits. Papaya oil is extracted from the papaya seed. It has moisturising and antibacterial properties. The oil contains the enzyme 'Papain' which is a natural exfoliant. That's why it was a no brainer to make Papaya oil a key ingredient in our new lip polish called Royal! I never seemed to find a lip balm that would'nt leave my lips dry after a short while. I tried all sorts but could never seem to find one that was just- right. So I decided to make some for myself using natural oils, butters and fragrances. After a few tweaks I got it just as I like it! Now, if you're like me you will really appreciate this lip balm for its nourishing, hydrating and long lasting properties.
