Honoring a Lagos Icon!

As part of the Queen of Ibile Pageant 2024 Grand Finale, we paid a courtesy visit to celebrate and honor the legendary Don Jazzy @donjazzy for his immense contributions to Lagos' heritage, tourism, and women empowerment through his visionary empire, Mavin Records.

Though he was away, we had the pleasure of meeting the fantastic team at Mavin, @humansofmavin who warmly received the award on his behalf. Don Jazzy’s impact goes beyond music—his unwavering support for young talents, creatives, and women in the industry continues to shape the cultural landscape of Lagos and beyond.

We are proud to recognize his inspiring work and dedication to building opportunities and elevating our heritage. Thank you, Don Jazzy & the entire Mavin family, for keeping the culture alive! We look forward to future collaborations

The Queen of Ibile Pageant team, led by our winner, Elizebeth Abiola Salawu first runner-up, Genevieve Akwuobi Chianacherum @gen2genny producer, Tobi Odunsi @odunsitobi and convener, Olayinka Fatima Edu paid a courtesy visit to the esteemed CEO of Landmark Africa, @landmarklagos_ Mr. Paul Onwuanibe, at the iconic Landmark Towers, Victoria Island.

With his signature warm smile, Mr. Paul graciously welcomed us, embodying the true spirit of Lagos' rich tourism and cultural heritage. As a key figure in shaping Lagos as a global destination, his dedication to promoting our city’s legacy through world-class tourism and hospitality is truly inspiring.
