So a few months ago, I got a message from an El Camino College student who works for the school paper asking if they could interview me about my career because I’m an El Camino alum. I was like, “Wait… ME?! 😂
I was honestly flattered and excited to possibly inspire some future creatives. Because when I was at El Camino, I had absolutely ZERO clue what I was doing or how I was going to become a designer. (Spoiler: neither did anyone else.)

The interview ended up being such a fun little pause. A moment to look back at my 20 years of twists, turns, and happy accidents that got me here. It’s a cute article that timelines my career and I hope whoever reads the article is inspired to dream big! 🥰💖

My advice:
Stay committed. Stay consistent. And be patient (LOL I know, easier said than done 🤣). If you keep showing up, the big things have a funny way of showing up too. 😉✨ #elcaminocollege #college #designer #toydesigner #inspire #hellokitty #toys #barbie #sanrio #art #design #otiscollegeofartanddesign taken in Los Angeles, California by @queenbee_e

I’m truly honored to be included in this year’s Mojo Nation Top 100 Influential People in the Toy and Game Industry. The journey of building a design team from the ground up over the past three years has challenged me in ways I could never have imagined, and I’m incredibly grateful for the unwavering support from this amazing toy community.

After 20 years in the toy industry, I can honestly say it feels like I’m just getting started—and I couldn’t be more excited for what’s ahead! 😊 #mojonation #toysandgames #toys #toydesigner #squishalongs #squishmallow #royalehigh #sanrio #hellokitty #designer by @queenbee_e

COMPLEXCON 2026. It was a hot one 104 degrees in LA today🥵🔥. The lines to get in the convention center were insane, but once you were in the AC was blazing and the fun kicked in. First time at the show. It was a bit overwhelming with the heat, but I had to see our Squishmallow x Vandy the pink booth! #complexcon #squishmallows #vandythepink taken in Los Angeles Convention Center by @queenbee_e
