Gave the doorman the password, went through the trap door, and headed down some very old stairs. 🗝️

For one night only, The Queen Bee Giftery opened their basement on 25th Street and turned it into a speakeasy. Local vendors, a cute goodie bag, and so much fun. Then we went back upstairs and fell in love with the whole shop.

The speakeasy’s over, but the store is open. Definitely go check it out! 🐝🎃

✨a day in the life of a shop owner✨

Here is a pretty typical day for me as a co-owner of a cutie little gift shop and indie bookstore. Things are getting busier as we head into the holidays, but I am loving the hustle and bustle of it all!

It is soooo much behind the scenes work, especially for me as the person in charge of inventory and buying, but that is what it takes for things to run smoothly on the front end.

Can’t wait to see you all in as we continue to add more fun product through November and December. Stay tuned 💗

😴We’ve been a little MIA…. Not because we’re ignoring you, but because we’ve been so. darn. busy! Oh, we’re not complaining, we’re definitely #blessed , but as a business owner, you don’t just wear one hat… 🧢 YOU WEAR THEM ALL!
.
As tiring as it can be, we love it, and every thought that passes through our mind boils down to one thing… HOW CAN WE MAKE OUR SHOP THE PLACE PEOPLE WANT TO SHOP? 🥰
.
All the late nights, early mornings, and everything in between is completely worth it. 💕 So if you see a business owner today, give them a high-five and tell them they’re doing a good job. 😂

a little reminder that you cannot find your people if you never leave your house. 🕯️🍂
and babe, romanticizing your life from your couch only gets you so far.

sometimes you have to put on the outfit, leave the house, sit at a table full of strangers, and let a little magic happen.

you might make a new friend. you might laugh until your stomach hurts. you might find women who just get you or you might just eat really good food and have a story to tell. honestly, that’s a win too. 😂

the brunch club is for the girls who want more. more connection, more experiences, more memories, more nights that feel like a movie, and fewer “we should hang out sometime” conversations that never actually happen.

you don’t have to know anyone.
you don’t have to bring a friend.
you just have to show up.

we’ll save you a seat. 🥂

✨ welcome to the table, babe.

Imagine it’s a rainy Halloween on 25th Street in Ogden. 🖤🍂

Your witch’s cape catches the autumn breeze as you make your way toward The Queen Bee. The sky is gloomy, the rain is soft, and the world feels just a little more magical.

You open the door, and suddenly you’re wrapped in the smell of fresh-baked bread, warm coffee, and something sweet coming from the Great Harvest kitchen. The shop is glowing with warm lights, shelves filled with curiosities, and little treasures waiting to be discovered. 🕯️✨

You shake the rain from your cape, find your favorite seat, and gather around the table with your coven. There’s good food, a little gossip, a lot of laughter, and the kind of conversation that makes you forget what time it is.

No rushing. No responsibilities. Just women, magic, and a seat at the table.

Welcome to The Witches Brunch. Where the ordinary becomes a little more magical, and strangers become your coven. 🐝🖤

Meet us at The Queen Bee. Your coven is waiting. 🍷🔮

👍 Fun fact: Picking the audio for this reel was surprisingly difficult because WHAT MUSIC DO YOU PUT TO MEETING BRANDON MULL?! 🧐
.
🎉 Our events with @utahhumanities have been absolutely incredible this year, but the icing on the cake was meeting the author of Fablehaven, @writerbrandon . It was so fun to see so many people show up and listen to him speak about his books!
.
🤗 It was personally a lovely night because he is one of my daughter’s favorite authors, and she was beside herself to be able to meet him (you can see her mile-wide smile at the end of the video!!). He was so kind and attentive to every person who got their book signed… everyone walked away in awe!
.
💫We have signed copies of Fablehaven and his newest book, Guardians: Forbidden Mountain, at our store! Get your Christmas shopping done early!
