Stepped back in time at the @carrenfest 🏰 ⚔️ It runs until November 22nd. lt is every Saturday & Sunday, just north of Charlotte at the border of Huntersville and Concord. The festival is filled with knights, jousting, music, costumes, performances, food, and medieval fun! 🏹🍗

There are rides for kids too! They will also love the live mermaids 🧜‍♀️ I look forward to it every year and had a great time at the opening weekend. This was my first year getting the freshly baked Chimney Roll from Transylvanian Treats though! We got the cinnamon sugar flavor. So glad we finally waited and tried it 🔥

This is definitely a good way to spend a fall weekend!🎟️ 🍁Parking is free and included in your ticket.

@guardandgracecharlotte opened yesterday! On Wednesday, I went to the Michelin reccomended steakhouse for their opening event. It was an amazing way to welcome this new restaurant to the Queen City🥂You can see the stadium and Uptown views from up there! Love the upscale decor and beautiful bar.
📍 It is on the 10th floor of the @vivianatqbc. Perfect place to dine and see a sunset 🌅 This is their third location.. they have two others in Denver and Houston.
🍽️ They have Creekstone Farms premium beef and cook their steaks over an oak fired grill! There is also a raw bar inside of the restaurant. They serve really pretty dishes and locally inspired flavors🥩 🍪 Do not skip Chef Troy’s Triple Chocolate Chip Cookies for dessert.
👗 Know before ya go! There is a dress code. Casual elegant dress required. Complimentary valet parking is offered 🅿️ They do take reservations!!

We had little bites that were all delicious. Can’t wait to return for a date night or celebration in the future🎉

Heading to the mountains this season? Here are four spots I recommend for dinner in AVL👇
1. The Admiral - Creative American cuisine (📸 2-6)
The Admiral is a West Asheville favorite that has a dive bar character. They serve a menu with inventive American cuisine. It has a vintage diner feel with creative small plates. I love how they have elevated takes on classics like beef tartare. Such a good espresso martini! Michelin reccomended 💫
2. Bull & Beggar - European with Appalachian influences (📸 7-10)
This is located in River Arts District! They serve classic European cuisine with Appalachian ingredients. The restaurant is two stories and in a revamped industrial warehouse! It is a casual fine dining spot that focuses on farm to table ingredients and unique dishes. We really enjoy the ambience for date night!
3. Laila - Modern Indian Cuisine ( 📸11-15)
This one is located in the heart of downtown Asheville! Laila is a contemporary take on Indian cuisine. It has a colorful atmosphere that reflects Indian culture. It is a great spot for both the food and the overall experience! They also have a sister restaurant we love.
4. Soprana - Rooftop Italian ( 📸 16-20)
We had our wedding brunch celebration here but have been for dinner several times. It is on the rooftop of the Embassy Suites. Soprana offers Italian inspired food with mountain views all around. Enjoy brick oven pizza, craft cocktails, and an amazing atmosphere! I love their chic decor. Michelin-recommended 💫

Fall in N.C is dreamy! These shoes I was loving and wearing last fall are back 🛒 🍂🤎 They are easy to slip on and come in other three colors if you’re not an animal print fan. I also own the dark brown and taupe ones! The taupe color is more of a look alike to Birks but for a better price.

These clog mules have a neutral suede finish and are perfect with jeans, leggings, or comfy sweats 🍁 If you missed them last year when I posted them, I had to share again! They fit true to size. 🏷️ Under $30 and the site says “rarely returned” and “highly rated” with over 3K reviews💯 To shop, I shared here + on both my LTK and ShopMy page.

Yay it’s officially fall now! Here is a fun idea for you! 🗓️ 🍎 We recently went apple picking at this orchard that is about an hour & a half drive from Charlotte. I’ve been wanting to find an orchard that we haven’t visited yet, so I started researching ones for a good day trip…
The driving distance to Apple Hill Orchard in Morganton, NC wasn’t bad at all and this place was applesolutely worth it 🍏 We spent the day picking apples, enjoying the beautiful scenery, grabbed amazing apple cider slushies, and a delicious apple donut ice cream sandwich!
They have 23 varieties of apples throughout the season. @applehillorchardnc also has a farm market and bakery with homemade apple pies, muffins, bread and more 🥧
We brought home a box of donuts and of course our bag of freshly picked apples with us. They have a lot of other items to shop in their store like apple candles, dried apples, apple cider jelly, and more. So if you’re in Charlotte (or around N.C) and looking for a fall activity, definitely save this one! 🍂

Taking this trip right after we got married made it extra special, but getting to see the CUTEST mama manatee and her little baby?! 🥹🩵 My heart!! It was amazing. I had to share the sweetness with yall.

Definitely a summer highlight of mine. It was right after we got a morning coffee and pastries at this Hilton Head bakery, then went for a walk around nearby. Newlywed era and this summer was filled with love 🤍

@fogo is Charlotte’s newest steakhouse and it’s the first one in NC!🍖📍It is officially OPEN in Uptown. If you love an all-you-can-eat experience, this one was amazing! The full Churrasco Experience ($65) features a continuous rotation of fire roasted meats. Their Gaucho chefs carve different cuts tableside and bring them straight to you! 🔪 💯 This also includes their Market Table and Brazilian sides. The Market Table has a yummy selection of fresh salads, seasonal dishes, charcuterie, fruits + more 🧀 🥗
I loved the cheesy bread and carmelized bananas for sides. Their dinner menu has other options in addition to this (including vegan and gluten free ones 🌱 )
They also have a dessert, brunch, lunch, and bar bites menu. The tres leches cake and cheesecake brûlée tasted fabulous! 🍰 The dining room and bar area are both beautiful. I am already excited to return soon for more of the queijo assado! It’s a cheese grilled with honey that they serve 🍯🤤🤤🤤

The official Panthers football season is almosttt BACK! 🐾💙 After getting a sneak peek at all the food coming to @bofastadium this season, I’m extra ready for this Sunday and you are in for a treat! 😋🏈
I had so much fun at the preview checking out what’s new by @levy.restaurants and there were so many things I loved. A few of my favs were the Carolina burger, Italian grinder salad, and the churros! 🍔🥗🥤 The cups for drinks were very cute too..
And can we talk about this year’s Panthers gear?! 🔥 I’m loving everything they had on display but this retro jacket I’m wearing might be my #1 pick. It’s giving major 90s, throwback vibes and I’m obsessed! 🤩 🖤
Now the countdown is on! The Panthers kick off the regular season this Sunday at 1PM against the Chicago Bears! Who else is ready for good football, good food, and to be back at the beautiful Bank ?! 🐾🏈

I finally made it to @olivelli_deli 🥪It was on my list. If you’re in NoDa and love a good sandwich, add this cute walk-up window to yours! They have fresh bread that they bake daily and premium deli meats that they import! I went for lunch recently and tried the Nutty Bird and the Oli Italiano. Both were SO good 🤌

They serve all natural turkey and Springer Mountain Farms chicken with no hormones or antibiotics! Love this adorable neighborhood spot with fresh sandwiches and don’t skip dessert! They have a yummy soft serve that is made from scratch with fresh cream and eggs 🍦 🥚

This deli also offers breakfast sandwiches 8-11 AM so I’ll be back to try that next!! Gluten free buns and other allergen friendly options are available here too.
