Genuinely the most tender short ribs and huge portion of meat.

@noliacincinnati - I have no words. Gorgeous space, flavorful courses, and the nostalgic (yet modern) taste of home. Chef Jeffrey puts his heart and soul into all of this menu and the folks who walk through the door feel like family.

Mom and I started out with a glass of champagne and the Rosé cocktail (rosé, strawberry, and yuzu) and then immediately inhaled the cornbread (the butter and flavor? No notes) and shrimp skewers (hot sauce tare with banana guac - perfect balance of sweet and spicy). To pair with the rest of dinner we split the Merry Edwards Pinot Noir. On mains we split the fish - a flounder with andouille sausage, tomato concassé, and demi glace). If the place wasn’t gluten free I would have begged for a slice of baguette to spoon up the insane sauce. To sidecar the flounder we chose the salted watermelon. While this may sound simple, the flavors are not. This was the reddest, juiciest watermelon slice I’ve put in my mouth. To wrap it all up, the caramel cake. Truly no words for this. The millet, dried out and fried to perfection, is the perfect salty crunch on this smooth and decadent caramel cake.

Chef - you will be getting a delivery of HEB tortillas! I cannot wait to come back and eat everything else on the menu. The James Beard nomination is an understatement to how delicious the food is at Nolia. taken in Nolia Kitchen by @queencityplates

Girls brunch at @ottos521cov with an insane spread of food. Lemon blueberry pancakes, eggs benedict over grits cakes, chicken salad sandwich, and breakfast casserole.

I don’t play about @losantisteakhouse. My second visit was just as fabulous as my first. This is the place that keeps on giving. Trying new things (to me) on the menu and having classics.

All courses were absolutely incredible and the staff is beyond words. Huge shoutout to Corey, Sydney, Becca, and Mick for such a great night. We had our first courses (wine, apps, salads, and mains) before taking the Cincinnati Ghost Tour and then returned to sit at the bar and finish off the night with the famous butter cake and bevs. What a perfect evening and what more could a girl want (other than a steak with truffle butter, potatoes I want to slather on everything I eat, a beautiful wedge salad, burrata with spicy almonds/poached pears, and a bourbon espresso martini). We felt right at home taking our time to enjoy the food and wine, and i am counting down the days until i come back.

Calamari - delicious, wine selection - staff is so knowledgable and has great recs (thanks Bradford!), and I cannot state my love for these lamb chops.

@rosiesitaliancincy - you never miss. From your delicious pitchers of appeal spritzes, garlic knots, SCAMPI, and sadly not pictured since it was eaten too fast - cannoli cookie.

Court Street Kitchen for Diva Dinner this May!

It was an okay experience, but I think slightly overpriced for the food quality that was served. I started with a paper plane at the bar while waiting for the girls (good but very expensive compared to other paper planes I’ve had around town and nothing that wowed on the taste - very aperol forward vs bourbon), the bread service has a very small amount of butter and olive oil, the chili garlic prawns were just shrimp (not prawns at all, very misleading), but the cacio e pepe risotto was very flavorful! The dessert donuts were average and I would try something else on the menu if I returned.

Not very high on my beli ranking, but we tried to go with recommendations from our server!

@mamas621cov was the latest diva dinner for April!

Absolutely loved the apps and dessert. The mains were average compared to other spots I’ve eaten around town.

For the table we started with the focaccia and whipped ricotta with olive oil. I had the arancini, which was in a savory/slightly spicy red sauce, and for my main I had the lobster ravioli. I had bites all around of other dishes, the Caesar salad was fabulous, but the spaghetti and meatballs seemed to be something I could make at home.

The tiramisu to finish things off was fabulous. The staff were so kind and took great care of us! I would go back in a heartbeat for the Caesar salad, arancini, a glass of white, and the tiramisu. taken in Mama's on Main by @queencityplates

It wouldn’t be a Cincinnati experience for an out of towner if you didn’t take them to a chili parlor! My personal favorite is @officialdixiechili.
